About moving while looting...

Probably the thing that makes me roll my eyes the most... Never quite understood the point of it. Looks more like someone having a seizure than a smart maneuver to me to be honest. And it's ugly. I've been told it's to avoid bullets while looting. Really? They barely move! How can that be helpful? It has probably become an automatism for some. More like a waste of energy in my opinion.

I think it's the same thing of people swapping weapons fast over and over in other FPS games. It serves no real purpose but it feels good doing so.

Broad movement does help but wiggling that I've seen doesn't quite because they're technically preserving the same center line.

Keep saying that until you get a Kraber (or other sinper) to the head by a third party while looting. Someone moving slightly side to side or in a circle is much harder to headshot than a person standing still.

Better than standing very still... no? When you have that constant momentum of movement, you can react better as well...

WEll, feel free to not move while looting. I can take you from full to zero in one mag of r301 before you react. Even small movement can save you from quite few bullets, especially on lowtick garbage Servers that Apex use.

No, no. Everybody stand still. Let me just find the charge rifle...

If you move even lightly, the garbage servers low tick gives you a lot more protection than if you were just standing still.

especialy when u wipe out enemy team and probably 3rd party on the way, just stand still and ull get snipershot in the head. or ur armor taken down until u realize someone shooting.

If you are barely moving you are switching directions too fast. I would definitely have an easier time lasering someone standing still.

I mean, keep standing still while looting and give us free krab/sent headshots. We won't complain

As others have said, standing still makes you a much easier target while you're distracted looting. That being said, Controller players cannot move while looting, and I do wonder if Respawn ever change the game so NO ONE can move when looting, to make it more fair for controller players. Not saying I advocate for this change, and I use keyboard and mouse myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if they made this change down the track.
