If you won a previous game of Control or Arena, it considers you as champion in BR

You don't have to win to be the champion. That just means you somehow got matched with everyone who died early in their game and did worse than you did. Champion just means top performance last game out of all the squads in your current game.

It just mean you did the best among all those 59 player in the lobby in previous match.

I think it just says you are in champ squad. But it's actually another player In your game that won his previous game.

what op (sinner) means is Top-Ranked Player from last match, NOT "1st place champion", or "champion squad".
