Origin files to Steam version

So, basically the core of my question is in the topic: Can I somehow transfer Origin files toSteam version, so that I don't need to download all that or do I need to do so?

Not until it gets released. Pre-loaded files are encrypted, so Steam won't detect the Origin version files and will still download from scratch.

Well, I tried, and:
1. When I've put it into an "Apex Legends" folder in steamapps/common, it didn't work
2. Same with throwing it into a "downloading" folder in steamapps (or rather certain number folder"

same here, did it yesterday - it isn't work. We have to wait release date.

The preload on Steam is available since yesterday, you have plenty of time downloading the whole game again.

Didn't work for me, probably because Steam pre loads the new version and not the S6 version.

Steam preload Apex 7.0 (season 7), that includes the new map, Olympus. Even if you could transfer existing Apex 6.1 files the download would still be quite big. It's better just to download the game again.
