I just recently got to the level where I can purchase demo charges, but it's 2000 LT to purchase the license...
Turns out.... you require demo charges.
The cut material looks like literally the same thing and now you arbitrarily can't cut them because.... no reason.
yaeh I saw that and I went 'that's crazy! I'm never buying those!'
Thanks for the tip.
That's a HUGE surprise which I totally did NOT expect!
What a bad design.... Now I'm going to go play something else because I'm not spending 8 hours on lower tier ships JUST to unlock a tool I don't want to use anyway!
In no way shape or form does it increase the complexity to require another tool that does EXACTLY THE SAME THING as an already existing tool.
You might want to look up the definition of complexity; you used it poorly.
Honestly if you avoid using demo charges you're missing out; I look for any opportunity to use them because they're by far the most fun tool to use.
