How to play as a custom ceremonial monarch of Japan
Heyyy guysss I typically want to play as a girl in my runs and are having trouble in playing as a female ceremonial monarch of Japan. You can't nessasary change his stats/gender without changing the settings. Any help would be appreciated. <33

I'm not sure if it would work, but I think there's a game setting for equality of inheritance in the game rules.
Not sure how/if its possible to change it through title laws for that title.
You would need to create a "Meritocracy" Kingdom outside of japan, likely with a reformed culture/faith to allow female preference. Or take over japan as fedual and then swap to Meritocracy.

Then you would need to conquer Japan as an outside power, take the Empire title.

Once your a Meritocratic Empire of Japan, you would need to lose a liberty war, which would form a ceremonial monarch title separate from the empire title.

You may need to find a way to eliminate or combine Japan's ceremonial title first.
