I really want to beat this video game but Second Sight can't launch at all. It's annoying

Hey everyone! I am having some trouble setting up the resolution for my screen at 1440p. Did everything in cfg and testapp.cfg, but when I launch the game the resolution is just messed up. I get 60fps like I set it up to be, but the resolution goes far below my screen and it is not wide enough. Are there any fixes to play this game or should I refund ?...

I just put this game on my wish list. Does anyone know when it was at a discount last? Also, is the mouse camera and aiming ok in this game? I read somewhere that it might be a little weird since it's a port, but here I've seen people saying it doesn't have native controller support. Weird. I hope it works well because otherwise they just screwed up this on both ends....
