Has anyone solved the shadow problem?
There is no shadow effect in the game.

This is a NVIDIA bug. The graphics API is rendering the shadow properly, but old NV drivers do not work.

Shadows work on:
Current NV drivers
Current AMD drivers
Intel HD drivers
Software rasterizer

Shadows don't work on:
NV 391.35 drivers.

My NV driver is 441.87
After running validation layer I think it's actually DX11 API misuse.

There should be two executables, one has _FIXED on it and I believe this fixes the issue. On most of my systems shadows work for both, but on the 391.35 system only the _FIXED version has shadows.

Can you fix the game? This and Escha too. I have a bad feeling that KT will just abandon them.

They eventually fixed some/most of the issues in Sophie, took several months though. Haven't played any of the other PC Ateliers so can't say if they've become better or worse since then.
I sent a ticket to KT about this at launch and it's been deathly quiet ever since. I don't expect them to fix this since the sales seem to be abysmal.
It seems that way. Hard to say for sure since most people would play Ayesha and Escha to Logy first.

Imo they release Atelier games too fast, as I think most people havent had the time to play them the previous ones yet. I'd argue 2 year development cycles with the off year being a ''re-release'' would be best, but that probably isnt going to happen. (also since all the post Rorona games are on PC now)
I've been going back and forth with them since the 17th about the major issues in Ayesha + E&L so they know the problems exist. They still have no real answer to the system save resetting and you losing costume unlocks. Ayesha still has the massive stutter without the fix. They also know about the shadows missing with E&L and Shallie. Atleast they are keeping the ticket alive by replying even if there hasn't been any solutions yet.
KT probably is just being slow, not abandon it. I recently played Sophie a bit, found KT has installed Steam cloud for it which is nice.

Haven’t got my hands in this DX franchise, neither have money nor have time for it, planning grab 3 all at once when I see a sale or something

Hey did you ever get arround to fixing this ? I'd be so grateful since the inpact is so huge on this game and esha & logy : (
