Wow the bow is horrendous! Only bad weapon in the game

I've tried all 6 now and 5 of the 6 are all very good (especially with the right boons)

The bow is the worst by far. MIND YOU, I'm not saying you can't do well with the bow,or that the game is impossible with the bow, or even that someone who spends an ample amount of time with the bow can't do amazingly.

I'm just saying that, compared to the other 5 weapons, the bow is awful.

Not my experience at all, the bow version where you auto aim after tagging with a special is super powerful, especially if you get the hammer that shoots 4 arrows at once.

Sword is probably the worst for me. Low dps, low range.

Matter of taste and playstyle. I have great success with the bow, you just gotta by rythmic, dash-charge-shoot, dash-charge-shoot...The weapon I struggle the most with are the Fists, kinda like the sword, but even less range option, makes it nightmarish to use against the Chariots (both big and small) in Elysium.

I felt that way, but on my first full run with it, I got the upgrade where the bow auto-fires but you lose your charge shot. I'm a complete scrub but I was able to get halfway through Asphodel.

It's definitely the worst IMO but it's definitely viable if you luck out

I do think that Coronacht benefits from titan blood and mirror upgrades a lot more than most of the other weapons. For a while Malphon was my favorite weapon but now I think that my runs with the Aspect of Hera are definitely the smoothest. With the Hera bow equipped, pressing your cast button will load your bloodstones into your bow, allowing you to fire all three at once at a target. And since you're hitting with your primary and cast at the same time you can put two curses on a target with one attack.

Maybe if you're talking the default bow, before you get the aspects. With aspects, Chrion is very strong when fully upgraded and Hera is strong with Dionysus flare on the first rank.

Bow is definitely one of the best two weapons in the game by pretty much all meaningful metrics except clear speed (but that's like, Rail being two minutes faster than everything else, with everything else all clustered around the 7:30 to 7:50 range and with very few people running them).

Bow probably performs best at high heat and holds the heat WR and has both damage and safety. Not really seeing what the downside is. Chiron is super easy to play, Rama really isn't that hard to play and does fantastic damage, Hera is pretty easy to be consistent with and doesn't need blood to the extent most aspects do. The hammers range from decent to insane (lul Twin Shot just straight doubles your attack damage as an independent multiplier and can one-shot armored enemies due to being two hits).

Sword is fairly undertuned (the DPS and moveset are just not particularly good and start to suffer when you get into things like Forced Overtime and Benefits Package 2) and spear is slightly so outside of Achilles cast builds (aspects other than Guan Yu just lack the base damage without something like Exploding Launcher to get anything done despite the weapon's safety, and Guan Yu halves your health to basically give you ghetto Exploding Launcher to start with but still needs more good things before it's getting up there in clear speed/safety).

The bow is a great weapon later on due to the enemies you face.

It isn't the quickest to kill but there's little to no chance of taking damage when you attack with it if you play it right making it exceedingly power when used correctly.

I would argue it is the most powerful weapon in the game when used correctly since with the right buffs you can kill basically anything before they ever get near you and run away if they do get near you.

I have to disagree, the bow is the most fun weapon in the game for me. I think I did most runs just with the bow. Especially a tactic I like to call "Melee bow run" where I just use special in melee range so that every shot hits an enemy. Insane if you do backstab damage with it too.

I've never once found the bow to be weak. The spear, however, is very underwhelming - mediocre aspects and upgrades, by far the worst scaling to higher heat imo.

The best results I have is actually with the bow....any boon that gives extra damages like Ares, Zeus or Dionisus and I can just tag enenmy, fall back while they take damages and come back at it...

Imo the Bow and the Shield are strongest, at least I did all my escapes with those two. I'm super bad with the Sword and the Spear tho. Railgun and Knuckles are also fun but I need more practice with those.
