Or it could be something that can be ordered with loyalty cards, again that would cost time but its a way to make some sort of progress if the plant just doesn't spawn in the area
For example it already happened to me to find TWO lotuses at Narcissus chamber.
(there's almost always at least one lotus there BTW)
I dunno, maybe that would fast track things too much, but the current drop rates in the regular run are just so stingy, it's kinda frustrating and feels a bit like my progress is being artificially throttled? Even if the Chaos trials ended up having a reduced spawn rate compared to the main run, I think that would help the feeling of frustration. Miles better than getting 30-45 minutes into a run only to realize I didn't get Lotus, or poppy, or driftwood, shadeseed, etc....
On a related note: been having a little trouble finding the required Plasma to unlock the Aspect of Nyx, despite taking Raki with me multiple times. Either it is truly bad RNG or something's going on with the revised resource spawn chances.
I still think that the random algorithm for the game is really really bad.
While some people can't find Lotus, I can easily get, two, three, four per run.
Since the removal of the tools, I've been finding WAY more shades to appease than before. While I can make full runs without finding a single fish.
(not that I need them, but to give an example)
Not to mention some other annoyances like not finding a single healing item when you are close to die and things like that.
Oh yeah, that colorful stone you find at Chaos is indeed rare. Although, for me, not as rare as his Legendary boon, for example.
