Use sneaky stalkers against Thorgrim, not really needed against slayer spam due to them not having any armour.
Just recruit a lot of nasty skulkers to deal with dwarves, field a second army as soon as possible and declare a Whaaaaag! for Karaz-a-karak (Thorgrim's capital) and drown the dawi with the goblintide. If you have a bad time dealing with full stacks just set an ambush in front of your settlements.
Then once you wiped out Thorgrim head to Karak Eight Peaks and keep snowballing your way to the victory.
One trick you can do is set the end game crisis to be greenskins and then when other greenskin trobes get a bunch of free armies, go beat up their faction leader and confederate them and get those free armies yourself. Well semi-free. They make your supply lines shoot up so your normal armies you have become super expensive and you might need to disband some.
Having multiple armies raiding is a good way to get scrap in my opinion. Each raiding army generates 2 scrap a turn.
The damage seems so low(the entire unit taking damage equal to stubbing your toe, per second), and when compared to an extra +5 AP(on every goblin attacking), it just seems worthless on melee units.
For ranged Night Goblins, it might be worth it.
