Reviving another Faction/Race that was destroyed ?
Is there a way to revive destroyed factions ? I read that, by letting certain Provices rebel you get them to come back. Is that true ?

Im playing as bretonnia atm, Vampires conquered the whole Northen Empire. Can i somehow revive the Empire ?

I don't think i've done it myself, but yes, my understanding is that works.
Corruption levels also come into it possibly too.

If you cause a rebellion while they have high corruption, they'll spawn vampire rebels. So you'll need to get the area's to have low corruption, and then rebel, and cause a rebellion. I don't know if the elector counts will get back up, but Karl should.

Practically, it's going to be much easier to just take it all yourself.

There used to be a great mod for that called 'revive factions from ruins' or soemthing like that, but it doesnt seem to be on the workshop anymore.

It is possible by either endgame crisis event (for example, "One Grudge Too Far" revives all Dwarfs factions on map) or by causing rebellion in their starting settlement. The latter may be tricky, because Public Order is self-balancing and the lower it gets, the harder it becomes to lower it further, and the later in game you are, the more control-buffing technologies enemy will have (little point in doing it on your own settlements, unless you are playing on Very High or Legendary). What works best is sending lord with traits and abilities to reduce control in enemy province with large (in terms of numbers) army in Raiding stance, and do regular (preferably every 1-2 turns, so garrison won't replenish much) attacks on settlement, with sacking each time. If done properly, it should reduce Public Order to -100 in few turns (usually between 10 and 20, depending on how high it was to begin with, and how much buffs to control enemy has). As soon as it happen, pull your army away and let rebels take settlement. And boom, next turn you get desired faction revived. As soon as it happens, you would want to make Peace offer and give in return other settlements in province to said faction in order to boost relations (assuming that you are doing it in order to confederate).

I used to use the mod but i was having some bugs with it while playing some Factions. Thing is, im not trying to recruit LL's but revive some other Factions/Races other than my own (Bretonnia). So that i kinda don't have to worry that much about an Area/not getting flanked even if the AI is braindead.
