epidemius has it worse.
When u know how its done, malus is dead round 3
Never get the negative effect on my own army. Tested it many time. First 20 Round many times to get the best outcome of epidemus
Never had that on any of the 3. I'm also using like 25 mods.
As Epi I just headed east until I killed Daniel then west for Malus got 3 provinces in the waste lands and went south with NAPs securing my borders
I don't know what to tell you he is beatable i did it, maybe your army comp wasn't good enough or you waited too long, I did not stop moving and attacking unless i had to after a major battle, once the east was clear i headed back recruiting(you can spend infection to rush troops). In the battle I waited till he changed and then used all my exalted plague bearers ammo on him, i didn't allow them to just fire it at anyone and kept them in the back waiting for the change.
When fighting lords that are stronger than yours, the easiest and most reliable way to beat them is to rout them with army losses. You can kill his army while whatever unit he wants to fight just runs away from him. If he doesn't take that much damage, he won't transform. And once his army is heavily damaged, he'll run away. If you can't beat his army, then that's another problem entirely.
Then did the same thing again on his settlement, and he was wiped out.
