Dwarves are OP balance currently does not exist
Dwarves are OP too strong, currently there is no army that could even touch them. I did a lot of tests. Unless someone doesn't know how to control the units and doesn't have a brain, and even then it's an art. Currently, the Airship costs only 2800 and will defeat an entire army that does not have shooters and will destroy the most elite infantry units. It will defeat several flying units at once and most shooters. Solo will easily eliminate, for example, 4/5 Choas Fury troops. Even the Haughty Bloodsucker can't compete in 1 airship, and luckily he won only once. This is sick. The creators don't hate chos units, they are terribly nerfed and weak, from heroes to elite ones!!! Armies without artillery and strong flying units have no chance against the dwarves. Apart from the airships, they received such damaged units that the rest of the faction does not exist !!!

I've heard that the airship currently have a hitbox problem. Every missile unit is targetting the balloon part of it, but it's actually not properly registering hit when hit there, so the amount of damage the ballon takes from focus fire is way lower than it should be.

I don't know if that's really what's happening since I haven't seen a video testing this, but that's what I heard. If that's true, then fixing the hitbox should already heavily punish thunderbarges that get too adventurous into the enemy line.

Also, for flying units pursuing, that's a problem with attack animations during pursuits that CA hasn't been able to fix to this day, unfortunately.

Turin and the others have been sounding the alarm for about a month about how hilariously OP the Thunderbarge is. It'll get nerfed just give it a little time.

True is no many people, not only devs care that much about multiplayer balance.
Dawi are really fun in campaign now though.
Maybe just agree not using the Thundebarge in multiplayer...
Untill they bump they price of it eventually (nerfing stats would be bad for the game, it's a fun unit)

I'm honnestly curious about how you're going to manage the current thunderbarge in campaign if the enemy army has 2 or 3 though.

One airship/zeppelin has no problem with killing 1,000 tier 2 and 3 infantry units. In the battle against the beastmen, I killed over 1,200, including fast miniotaurs.

An army of Dawi was almost always to be "respected" in all prior patches up to this point. You don't go against Dawi and expect no casualties before. Playing as them may have been "more difficult" than other races back then, but Dawi are in a pretty good overall place right now in terms of player hands compared to AI hands. There are some problems now with the thunderbarges, but I am rather shocked people are so annoyed at the Dawi being in a "Fun" place now.

Give CA some time to tone down how insane the barges are, but otherwise, for now, enjoy the ♥♥♥♥ out of these things because they're awesome.

Currently, there is no balance in this game - it's a mockery that the chos and demon factions are nerfed. I guess only kids are supposed to have fun playing this game of dwarfs and empires. I would like this game to have a built-in editor for units and statistics. This would solve the problem. In Warhammer 1 and 2 I liked the balance better, it was far from perfect, but it suited me better. The dwarves faction was one of my favorites in TW I and was already very powerful, but like every other faction it had some weaknesses and now it is pathologically OP. I'm counting on a quick change from the creators because this can't be the case. :steamfacepalm:

I don't think there's an issue with their melee units but their ranged units are WAY over tuned. Improving the accuracy of ranged units so much made them hit like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trucks, feels like TW:W2 again where you either go ranged or die to it.

The problem, in my opinion, is that Dwarf units are too cheap in close quarters compared to their effectiveness, just look at their stats. Completely agree that ranged units are more accurate than people in the 21st century. Defensive units with large shields should have greater protection bonuses, at least against arrows and light projectiles. :cleanfloppy:

Dawi are not OP. Running into melee against grape shot cannons or having multiple thunderbarges supported by brimstone canons with malakai's upgrades are OP.

I just shot it down with volley gun steam tanks on campaign a few times.

It goes down slower than most single entities tho. Still goes down.

I still don't know how melee units fight with it tho. Because if you are playing WoC you have no other option than sending flying melee units to fight it. Valkia could probably destroy it but i would assume it would take a while for her to do, Azazel and Belakor can also do ofc. Or just bring a bloodthirster.

Grapeshot is a campaign adventure reward for Makaisson you can't have it in MP. It's horrifying what it does to infantry though.
