If you are actually looking for advice:
Slayers have no armor which makes them more or less glass cannon units, do not expect them to stay in prolonged combat and not die.
The thing is the quest to recruit them throw them head first into a whole Slaanesh army with your army way behind them, considering all Imperial units are slower than their Slaaneshy counterparts and that the AI will walk towards that Slaanesh army, making even hard for me to reach them, they *will* get into prolonged combat. It's not a thing I can control because I can't control them.
Like I said the best I can do is try and predict where the AI will send them, surround them with my units and hope they don't push through in combat and end up surronded anyway, which is what has been happening in all my attempts.
You can use overcast spirit leech to aggro the demon hero's from afar. If your having a lot of trouble at that point you probably need to tier up some.
gotrek is lvl 40 in my game and he has 0 ward save
Agreed, I've just completed that quest battle yesterday evening and Gotrek had no skilltree and can't join an army. But Felix can, of course.
This is probably some leftover from his pre-patch mechanics.
That is a mod issue.
> Armchair experts telling you to give him ward save like you can level him up before you recruit him
Amazing.
By the time cavalry reaches them they are nearly dead, infantry fares much *much* worse.
So spoilers sending my heroes to tie up their stuff usually ends up with *my* heroes nearly dying (since seekers do a ♥♥♥♥ load of damage reugardless).
What ultimatelly ended working out was using Karl Franz to snipe the 3 Allurenes whilist hoping my regular army can keep him alive.
There are three different auto-quest resolve mods. THere is one that was updated.
