The difference between anti player bais and none anti player base is massive.
Allies are usefull now.
Enemies wont destroy themselves trying to kill you.
And npc wage war among eachother.
As for OP, start with Radious it is simple very fun overhaul , just 4 parts and You don't need anything more.
Malaficus, thats great mod, thank You for putting it here.
Right now I'm playing the Marienburg one and I'm loving it.
Thanks its down to reshade mostly. I'm still tweaking it but I prefer it with TAA and antialiasing off. I use the AA that comes with reshade. it makes a huge difference to frame rates.

Nice!! Does the reshade uses up much hardware?
What it changes is really simple - you can zoom out more, you can zoom in more.
For me this mod is essential and I cannot go back, it's such a huge quality of life improvement. On top of that it enables taking better close-up screenshots. But for me, the real improvement is being able to see the map much better in big battles, without going into tactical mode.
Could you please post a link to this reshade mod? I cannot find it, and I'd like to try it out. Also, does it have the option to make the visuals brighter? The screenshots you shared look great, but I personally don't like the fact that it's so dark, it's like it sets the brightness to 0.
Thanks!
EDIT -- forgot to add to OP, since you mentioned SFO - I would personally leave SFO for only when you feel like Vanilla has nothing more to offer. It fundamentally changes the game; it's a great, high quality mod, but it's the type of mod that you play after you played dozens of Vanilla campaigns and feel like you want something fresh.
Of course, nothing's stopping from giving it a try, this is just my perspective. The important thing is to have fun. Cheers!
The only gameplay mods I installed are these 3: "Bretonnia Overhaul", "Vasslize&Liberate factions" and "TT caps". I cannot live with the two last options now (except when playing coop campaign, its full vanilla), and Bretonnia overhaul is very nice and vanilla friendly, but will eventually phase it out once CA rework them properly.
Not a fan of big changes like SFO. All my other mods are graphical or light reskins.
