I have a very uncomfortable Skaven question about Mythical-Legendary Antiquity...

"What do you want, creature of Sakhmet?"

https://warhammerfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Sakhmet

https://warhammerfantasy.fandom.com/es/wiki/Sakhmet

According to Creative Assembly Warhammer Lore, Sakhmet is one of the names of the Great Horned Rat?

If this is true, I, as a Skaven, would be very happy!

"is jealous of the love of the Great Father for the human race" - It's a complete coincidence that they both hate mankind, yes-yes?

"She was a very much feared deity because she was associated with magic and the darkest rites, and with the most terrible creatures and spirits, always ready to cause damage and destruction among humans." - It reminds me of the Doom of Kavzar, yes-yes...

"the vengeful Sakhmet followed her, gazing grimly at the sons of the gods" - yes-yes...

"When that happened, the whole region trembled with fear, for the creatures of darkness and the depths of the earth rose and used their evils against humanity." - kill-kill every man-thing, yes-yes...

Is it a complete coincidence that there is so much in common in this context?

I don't think it's necessary for me to tell you what other Skaven conclusions (and conclusions which are frightening to the vast majority of mankind and not only mankind) this might lead to, is it?

What do you think about this?

I sincerely hope that I caused a tingling sensation in the back of the vast majority of Skaven antifans...

Before you call me a fool or a madman (although in this case you would've to be called mad-rat) I'll show you something...

https://pariedolia.weebly.com/nimh/secret-origins-of-the-horned-rat

As you can see, I'm not the only conspiracy theorist on Warhammer Fantasy lore...

Although I don't like the theory that Horned Rat and Malal are one being, I really like this type of philosophical deliberation...

"This renegade Chaos god seems to belong more to a forgotten world of Fimir and Zoats than what Warhammer became."

As a true Skaven, I like this quote from this text the most, yes-yes!

https://forums.totalwar.com/discussion/298638

Admittedly, I have already asked that question here, and have been scorned by the majority, but...

Some sparse users supported me with reactions...

What do you think about all this?

Sakhmet also was a goddess of the ancient Nehekharan Pantheon associated with Morrslieb.

Nagash was a heavy sinner-thing against our Great-Holy God since he was man-whelp, yes-yes! 😈🐭🐹🐀🐁🌚

Well Sakhmet is the Nehekharan goddess that represents the moon Morrslieb which is made entirely of Warpstone and Skaven not only love it but are addicted to it and it is likely what made them into what they are as a species.

I am sure some of the Tomb Kings put two and two together that oh these walking talking rats have a lot to do with the thing one of our goddesses are all about.
We all know there is no such thing as Skaven....

It is entirely possible that the Horned Rat is not actually Sakhmet, but a reincarnation of the idea of Sakhmet, reborn in the Realms of Chaos, through Nurgle corruption of the worship of her, that still remained in the Mortal Realms.

Remember that in Warhammer, gods die all the time, and sometimes they get replaced by different versions of themselves.
Turning a lion goddess into a horned rat god, is exactly the kind of disruptive influence that Chaos often has.

New gods also often take the names, domains and even power, of old and defunct ones, specially if they were somehow involved in killing them.

Maybe Nurgle or Tzeentch impregnated Sakhmet with a parasite that would become the Horned Rat. Maybe it happened because Sakhmet was associated with Morrslieb, which is Chaos-tainted.

In 40K, for example, Nurgle keeps Isha prisoner, so he can use her flesh to breed new diseases and plagues.

Chaos is EVERYTHING rthat is nasty and wrong. It's main purpose is to corrupt and disfigure.

Even Khorne, as loathe as he would be to defeat another god of war in such a matter, could have easily punished a beaten Sakhmet into either becoming or mothering a twisted replacement, that would end up fouling everything that Sakhmet was.

Perhaps-maybe you are right, but I, as a true fan of Skaven race, prefer the theory that our Ratkin are even older-ancienter than elf-things...

There is a suggestion in Children of the Horned Rat book that Skaven aren't just mutant rats, but Skaven comes from outer space, just like Greenskins, Lizardmen, and Goblins in the Goblin Slayer Universe...

"I have heard learned academics argue proofs that they came down upon us from Morrslieb itself"

I understand that this is just one of the suggestions a Game Master can make use of in his WHFRP session...

It seems to me-me that any true-real fan of Skaven Race would profess-embrace this theory-thing with all his strength-heart... :Rat_Laugh::WorkerRat::BattleRat::GunnerRat::WarlordRat::ShamanRat::APTrat::ratkin_csk::Darkwolf::rodent::rat_head::skaven::whqrat::ratt::desertrat::D98_Rat::lofrat::deadrat::ratsimulator::lindisfarne:

Well if you want to be technical with it in the timelines, one of the Time of Legends books suggest the Skaven as a race came about around the time of the War of the Beard

I haven't read Time of Legends: Nagash Trilogy, but someone told me that, according to this book series, Nagash was killed by other Necromancers, not by Skaven/Alcadizaar...
From what I associate, this someone probably didn't like me very much and could have been lying to me...
