Not enough VRAM error

How much is required, and why is so much required. this is a PS1 game. I can play FH4 and MHR no problems. Heck I can emu this game no problems on my system.

What is your GPU? The drivers might not support textures bigger than the minimum specified by Microsoft.

About 512 MiB of VRAM is needed. 128 MiB for the font texture alone, lol.

But the game's probably checking for the advertised 2 GiB, and it's quite likely it's checking the wrong GPU if you have a system with integrated and discrete graphics (i.e. laptop).

Intel GPUs report something like 128 MiB of dedicated VRAM, even though they technically have 0.

If you increase DVMT in the BIOS settings can this be increased?

This is exactly what I'm playing on, laptop. Also wow....

You -might- be able to fix the problem by opening NVIDIA Control Panel and changing Chrono Cross's preferred GPU. I can't tell you the exact setting name, cause I'm on an AMD laptop right now.

It's something like prefer maximum performance.

lol I have to update my drivers because the nvidia control panel crashes each time I open it. First game to make me do it lol.

Edit: this better be some high quality graphics if it requires me to do this much work over something like Froza 4

Nope Nvm the game isn't even on the list for nvidia. Looks like It doesn't support it.

Edit: Welp at least I own it now, so I can emu it legally. Should have kept my old PC.
