No fish soup? Cooking needs a complete overhaul

Hello there fellow settlers!

Here, I try to understand why there isn't a cooking system like in many other survival/farming/building games.

For instance : I put 1 fish and 1 carot in water and cook it to see the result...
Wow! I discovered fish soup recipe!

...I try to, but I can't come to a complete reasoning behind the system we currently have.

IMHO the main problem is how you unlock technologies, atm it's basic af.

Money is the main thing you need, right after having enough xp to unlock apprenticeship of this or that technology...

Wait : I think my thread is deviating towards the technology system which I basically hate.

but anyway, I really don't know why poor settler like me wouldn't know how to make fish soup.

Soup is the easiest thing to make ever, let stuff boil in water, and then eat and drink the "beverage, it's not that hard really. You can do it with MEAT ! Why not with FISH?

Just add carots if you don't like fish with no side dish, but remember this could be the last time you eat fish this season !

Nah, just kidding bro, just set one person to fishing and boom unlimited fishes, fast af boi

Why did you read any of this, I clearly don't know how it is to be a gamedev, I must be trying to flame on the game because I don't like it.
Well... I really like these type of games, feels like Banished but FirstPerson.

I hope I'm not the only one who enjoys fish soup from time to time.

Devs: If by any miracle you happen to read this : Add fish soup to the game please :)

Or roasted fish with vegetable sides, or baked fish, or fish pie.
No fish and chips though... potatos are yet to be discovered.

They did say there will be more recipes in the future, so maybe patience?
