So, time to rewrite this review here,

before I was complaining a lot about the lack of iconical african animals, all we had where some smaller and bigger herbivores, similar to the other maps, nothing I´d considere special or unique (with the exception of the springbok, I really love hunting these and that jumping around is soemthing you wont see in any other reserve), there was just something missing here to make it truly feel like an african reserve.

Devs have really been listening to the community and soon lions will added to the reserve, thats an iconic african animal, its different from most other animal models in the game and its another potential threat to the player, this will change the atmosphere of the reserve a lot.
I think this reserve will finaly feel how it was supposed to all this time.

Not many games have developers that are constantly working on it to improve it for a long time, but cotw certainly does and we´re looking forward to see more animals come to this and other reserves in the future (zebras, maybe? please?).

I have to give the map designer credits here, because the outposts landmarks, trees and ah damn just everything looks really great here (as usual), its great to just wander the map, would be even better with zebras or lions (well, we got lions now, hopefully zebras in the future?) to make a picture and feel just like a tourist. The atmosphere with sounds and enviroment work great together and I can almost imagine being there myself, sweating horrably walking over dry gras.

Well my mixed feeling about this are gone, the map is beautifull and we now got lions in it, I still dont like the story (I like the stories of the other reserves, especially medved taiga and Parque fernando), but at least its bug-frree now, I just dont like being adressed personnaly as grandchild, I prefered being the "apex predator"! and the mystical stuff, I´d prefered a more historical or tourist like angle.
I really love setting up camp in the tall grass under a tree, enjoing the scenery.
