Lack of chemistry is the biggest problem in Persona 5 Royal, excluding new character Kasumi.
To be honest there is a solution for this problem, but it requires to play in Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight where you can watch social events in which characters feels more like a friends than people meeting all together just few times to steal someones heart.
In other aspects Persona 5 Royal is the best of series. Plot is a matter of taste, but the 3rd semester is probably the best thing which Atlus created in their history. There can be problems with pacing, but in my opinion Persona 5 has got less problems with that, thanks to the first villian, who makes everything personal, while Persona 3 has the worst start of all of games.
All of Persona games from social era (3-5) are good and there is no game which is the best in everything. Which one is the best? It is just your opinion.
Mmm,let's not forget that all of Phantom thieves were like complete strangers to each other before the events of the game.
Members of the investigation team, on the other hand, knew each other quite good (except for Yu and Naoto). Also small town makes people closer to each other than big city.
The lack of chemistry people complained about in P5 isn't just because the characters did not know each other beforehand. The lack of non-Phantom Thieves interaction is the real problem.
In P3, some members were even at each other's throat (Yukari) at the start but in the end they feel much more like a team than P5.
Don't you mean to early in the year, anyway i am not talking about persona 5 royal i am talking about the "Persona 5 The Animation" it coming out in september this year in english dubbed what i was asking as anyone heard about this ???
