Is it possible for Atlus to port Persona 3 FES onto steam?

I'm a huge persona 3 fan and want to replay the whole game again on steam

Just a heads up, in case you already didn't know, Persona 1 & 2 have nothing to do with 3 through 5. Different team worked on them. The new team wanted to respect the work of the early games which is why they don't talk about the characters beyond a brief literal description of them on the Persona 3 TV news.

I'm well aware that 1 & 2 are basically completely different games from 3 through 5.
However, despite that, I would still like to experience them cause I think it's fun to look back on older games in a series and see how they've changed and grown over the years.
Helps me gain a greater appreciation for the series as a whole ya know?

It's pretty easy to play P1 and P2 in... not so legal ways, if you know what I mean, considering how damn expensive these games are today.
But I would recommend playing the PSP Remasters over the Ps1 originals, as they are less expensive, and they removed the stupid P1 American changes. The only downside is that they never released the second part of P2 outside of Japan, so you'll be forced to use the "indirect" path to play the game in English.
P1 aged badly, but P2 is still a great game today.

Possible? Yeah, sure. Soon? Very unlikely. We're going to get P5R first for sure and maybe some spin offs or other SMT games. IF they are going to port P3, it will be in the future after they have released their big hitters.

Can they? Yes. Will they and when are very different matters. The first main question is likely who was involved in making the steam version. A large team? A small team? Persona 4 used an updated version of the same game engine as Persona 3 and Persona 4 Golden use an updated version of that. Depending on how well structured the code is vs. how much of a hack job they had to do it might be easy to port Persona 3 over or it might be a major pain.

The second main question is what else they might feel they need to do. As others have pointed out, P3P had no anime cutscenes which means none with the feMC in them. There's also the facts the Golden had a graphical update which P3P didn't. They might not be keen on releasing a game with such outdated graphics.

Ultimately it might come down to someone deciding whether porting it will be profitable enough.

A port would be nice, however I feel like it would have to be remake just to keep the FES or Portable fandoms from imploding in on themselves. Though, I'm also not too sure on Atlus ever doing a remake because of their trackrecord, though it is a possibility. And finally I think can safely say that if they did remake P3, it's definitely not coming first to PC over Playstation.

Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? somewhat. A big issue with P3 is it's lack of a definitive version as both P3FES and Portable have content exclusive to them and if they were to port one over the other fans of each are gonna be mad. The wish is they make a definitive version based on P3FES with all the portable content (maybe not the new battle stuff) but knowing Atlus I somehow doubt that'll happen.

By the time they get around to it, most of their customers will have already finished the game so they'll just say it's not worth it anymore and move on. And the vicious cycle continues. Sure would be great if they did polish it up and learn from their mistakes.

I saw pepe the frog when I searched for it so I'll wager it's probably another quatrochan made troll that mainstream media believed and started calling a hate symbol or something. So, definitely a meme.
