Which styles appeal to you most?
Just got back after watching Night City Wire #4.

Apparently fashion and cars are distinctive in their styles, looks, and even economic class.

Entropy - Cheap, low class. Function over looks.

Kitsch - opposite of entropy style. Colorful. Looks better than entropy. But possibly just as cheap.

Neomilitarist - not too colorful. Looks dark, authoritarian and brutalist. Mostly favored by corpo agents and soldiers.

Neokitsch - fancy. Luxury. Shiny. Possibly very expensive. Corpo execs. Celebrities.

For roleplaying prospect and your starting path (streetkid, nomad, corpo), going down in certain styles would say a lot about the character.

Will you be a corpo in cheap entropy garments or a streetkid in neokitsch gear just because you can?

The neo hobo style to start out with and when I get paid I’ll upgrade neokitch

I like neo militarism. It's not too flashy and doesn't look like it would get in the way in a fight.
I'm going to invent my own style: meta-entropy. V will only wear what is useful, disregarding aesthetics entirely. But coincidentally the best gear will likely look the most impressive in many respects, because video games. So V won't end up wearing much of the entropy style, yet will be living out its supposed ethos.

Translation: I'm going to wear whatever's handy lol.

Kitsch or Neomiltiaristic. It depends on the pices. Maybe I'll mix and match.

Entropism is literally what you see people wearing these days. V's outfit in the trailers is entropism as well.

Aesethically, neomilitarism is my favorite but it looks uncomfortable to wear. I want to like Kitsch but I just can't. I hate Neokitsch.

For some reason I don't really care too much about customizing my own character in this game (well, if it changes the stats, then obviously I'm going to do it). I guess if I had to choose, I'd go for a sleek corpo look (planning to choose a corpo route at the beginning too).

Neomilitarism it looks good and isn't overly elaborate, in real life I also tend to go for darker colours which this style seems to do. The fact I'm likely to start as a corpo helps. That said if I come across something cool it's going on V. I'm very glad the stats can be swapped out between clothes so you if you find something you like you don't have to sacrifice stats to wear it.

I'm more interested in the cyberware and how many different options we get mechanically and aesthetically.
Neomilitarism. Everything else looks either too trashy or too flamboyant for my liking.

Neomilitarist
OG Frostbite[Qc] Oct 16, 2020 @ 10:24am
Neomilitarist all the way:Geralt:

Probably all at some point. Might go with neomilitarist or entropy to start. Function over form, or both if I can have it.
