HDR In-Game vs Windows auto HDR
Which setting do you find to visually better for HDR? The in game HDR or letting windows auto HDR handle it?

I find neither of them great. HDR in gaming, especially PC gaming is in a sorry place. Even when it's well done, you have to have a monitor that has multiple local dimming zones and good peak brightness. This is something even so called "HDR" gaming monitors usually lack. Unless you have an OLED or multizone LED, I would honestly just ignore the feature completely. It will just wash out your blacks.

On the other hand, you can go the opposite direction and go for sRGB mode. Depending on the monitor, this can actually display a much more true to intent picture. Some monitors have crappy sRGB modes, though.

With pure blacks from OLEDs, I'm sure SDR would still look incredible.

I use ingame HDR but honestly can't really tell the difference vs Windows auto or Off, might be because my HDR,monitor is not OLED, also i am a bit of color blind.

What I can tell is Windows auto HDR while going on internet is awful on my monitor.
