Weak. No wonder it wasn't working.
First off, for the gamepad audio, CP2077 has a specific option (I forget which menu) to disable controller speakers.
As for the wired requirement, sadly, that is the state of Dualsense on PC at the moment. It is the best controller, imo, and I play even more games with controllers than mouse/kb because the feel is fantastic (and I always relegated mouse/kb to FPS/RPG/RTS anyway). Cyberpunk feels great with the added Dualsense support.
I really don't understand why Sony hasn't done more to enable Dualsense on PC, but hopefully now that their PS5 supply is rolling, they can now shift to addressing the Edge support and the wired requirement to take advantage of all the features. I hate going back to wired, but it's worth it for the features DS provides.
Keep an Eye on PCGW's Dualsense page for a list of compatible PC games.
It's the same for ASUS and HP. Their handhelds controllers only work in Steam because Valve allows it. At any minute, Valve can disable controller support for those users to maintain their monopoly.
Am using dual sense controller, wired connection, steam, PS controller support disabled and Steam input disabled.
I do get adaptive triggers working fine but no controller vibration or haptics (at all, none, 0). And have restarted pc, steam, game and changed the controller setting properly multiple times.
And still only adaptive triggers work on my Dual Sense, but no vibration or haptics.
Has anyone had same problem and fixed it? How? And plz don't reply "just disable ps controller support and Steam input". I have done those.
Please and thank you.
As far as I know, there are no haptics. Just triggers.
You need to enable the controller speaker via Windows sounds to get haptic/rumble to work. Weird bug but it is what it is.
Works fine for me.
