Do the different vehicles have readily noticeable stats?
For example I got Jackie Welles motorcycle and I was wondering, would upgrading to the Kusanagi be that big of a difference?

iirc Kusanagi is a little bit faster.

Some are better at handling corners and some are faster. Yes, you can see the difference when you compare a cheaper car you can buy versus a expensive one, so yes, there is a clear difference in stats. For example, if you drive a truck, it handles like a brick, but if you drive any sports car, the expensive one, they are super fast. Their handling around corners is also better, but it still feels a bit hard. Also, the acceleration for each car is different. Trucks start out slow and get faster. Sports car tend to go 100 miles per hour in 3 seconds on straightaways.

NOTE: I do like "THE BEAST" though as my favorite truck type. It handles better than most trucks imo. Not to spoil too much, but you might like the racing quest in the game since your avatar is speed racer..lol.

Indeed. Certain vehicles go different top speeds, have different accelerations, and different amount of armor. Some vehicles also protect you from being shot through the window, while others are just glass. Some vehicles handle rough terrain better, while others handle streets better. I have been thoroughly testing this out, and getting better at keyboard driving.

Doesn't matter so much for bikes, but the cars do have noticeable differences, some are faster, but the faster ones don't handle as well and are a pain taking corners at speed or trying to weave through traffic.

That said, apart from one questline, vehicles are only a means of getting from point A to point B.

Using certain cars for certain quests will open unique dialogue as well.

Some cars handle better than others and it's noticeable. Not sure about the bikes.
According to the guide, every vehicle has a specific mass, drive type, and horsepower. Presumably then the physics model in the game works with that, along with things like specific friction of surfaces (wet, dry, etc. since we know it changes in the rain) to determine handling.

The Kusanagi has more HP, but also more mass, than Jackie's Arch does. So not sure how they compare (haven't tried the Kusanagi yet.) Also, if you have the requisite skill, you can change the Arch's specs slightly (guide doesn't give the numbers) by telling Jackie to tune it during the scene during the early quest, and that will change it somewhat too.

Yes, but the difference isn't really that great. Personally, I used the Arch more than any other vehicle. Full disclosure: I played the whole game M&KB so yeah, I didn't really notice too much of a difference from one vehicle to the other.

Yes it is quite significant, that small cute car can turn 360 pretty fast.

Maimai excellent to bring on missions and to drive over thugs. Work as a red barrel

Yes. 2 wheels or 4. I did not notice any other differences.
The only thing that makes sense to look at is the first person view. If you use it.
There are no races, chases, car shootouts, etc. in the game. So don't care.
