Keyboard & mouse doubletap dodge
Anyone else finding this EXTREMELY annoying, perhaps even game breaking? It makes it extremely hard to stealth especially given that there isn't even a slow walk keybind. Attempting to line myself behind objects to hide from enemies is dashing me right into their view. This affects normal traversing given that accidentally dodge/dashing into an npc is considered an offense....

EDIT: FOUND A PERFECT SOLUTION!

go to game folder
go to folder r6
go to folder "config"
backup "inputContexts.xml
open "inputContexts.xml"
ctrl + f search "multitap"
scroll down to "MULTITAP ACTIONS"
you can see the uptime and downtime timings there
change all 5 up and down timings from 0.2 to 0.125

Profit and enjoy!

I am having the same issue and it is super annoying. Walking down the street, repositioning, and accidently dash into some. Suddenly everyone acts like I started blasting.

There has to be a way to disable or rebind this cause it is ridiculous. Its like it wasn't tested on M&K.

Game breaking for me. Its unusable in fight and its comletely kills all gunfights in game.

Tried this and now I get a ''Cyberpunk has flat lined'' when trying to boot up.

Edit: Nvm separate issue.

I second this. What a stupid design from CDPR and I hope they fix it in a patch. I am tapping WASD to move in small steps all the time and the dash ruins stealth missions by making me jump out in front of people.

Theres now a mod to fix this since CDPR won't at the moment https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/38

do you have to delete original xml file for this to take effect? because i did this and change has taken place. thank you
I'm just wondering about the uptime and downtime variables there, because some people have said they felt dodge/dash would be more fluid if it activated on keypress rather than release. I'm guessing that's the way to do it?
