There has to be a way to disable or rebind this cause it is ridiculous. Its like it wasn't tested on M&K.
EDIT: FOUND A PERFECT SOLUTION!
go to game folder
go to folder r6
go to folder "config"
backup "inputContexts.xml
open "inputContexts.xml"
ctrl + f search "multitap"
scroll down to "MULTITAP ACTIONS"
you can see the uptime and downtime timings there
change all 5 up and down timings from 0.2 to 0.125
Profit and enjoy!
You deserve a medal! I was having the same issue and it was very frustrating. I applied what you posted and this is exactly what I was wanting. Perfect!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Tried this and now I get a ''Cyberpunk has flat lined'' when trying to boot up.
Edit: Nvm separate issue.
Just change the key mapping in game.... oh wait
