Look this over and try the free to play before you decide.

Go for it, this isn't a free to play game like Warframe but there is a lot to do to get your feet wet and get a feel for the gameplay before spending money on it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2691498745
If you want to buy into it then to get everything you'll need Witch Queen Deluxe + 30th anniversary bundle as well as the legacy collection.

Haha, I got ninja'd by myself in a way, I was confused for a second when that showed up twice lmao!

define full time job? sure theres grinding for god rolls but basicly bungie has implemented stuff to cut down the grinding but still lady luck of rng is a cruel being so, yes theres grind
but no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ limited time crafting and trading needed, you are given long time to do stuff
casual pve can get boring but thats why we have end game stuff
pvp is absolute joke.
sure we have kill x100 things to progress but thats not too hard in this game. like couple minutes tops
some things need bit longer but can also be done quicker
you are not in a rush in d2.
theres no actual leveling system like generic rpg has that makes your gear completely obsolete after 2 levels
your gears total power level will be your level and dictates how much you do and take
and you will by doing activities(public events etc) gain constantly new gear that will at some point reach soft cap
then you need to do higher tier weekly challanges to get higher power level gear
currently all players can get high tier armor and guns basicly for free after visiting place called helm, dont know about free 2 players
but it will ...mostly give you access to later game content and gives you good set of balanced guns and armor to keep you going for a while.
d2 has horrible tutorial quest line so if you want to get into d2 i can help you speed run the tutorial quest line that was made as an after heavy late night drinking as a hazy morning idea.
we all hate it and it cant be skipped and you need to do it for all 3 classes you have.
still all and all d2 has been going to better direction and we are hopefull about the future of this game.

Gameplay in Destiny 2 uses a first person perspective (most of the time, you do get a 3rd person perspective for Swords). It also doesn't use the Parkour system that Warframe uses. Personally, that's way, way better for me. Warframe really made my wrists hurt.

The games are also monetized differently. In Destiny 2, you just buy content access, for a fixed and relatively modest price (yes, that's my opinion). Because of the way Warframe's monetization works, everything is technically available, and the grind times for ... just about everything ... are extremely long.

Warframe has some fun elements to it, but I much prefer Destiny 2.

I regreat all my wasted time on Warframe, I should had started on Destiny 2 instead.
Go for it, I bet you will not regret it.

I play both games at same time, the grind in warframe is much better than the grind on warframe. But both games has different play style and gameplay

You will have fun.
And total lack of tutorial will make you feel right at home.
Lost of things to do and grind.
Destiny is a bit more expensive than war-frame in the long run, with the Season passes and such.
