No, you're unable to decide yourself.

Why have someone else decide it for you? so you have someone else to blame with?

No, just wanted to know if the loss of solo was worth it and if actual player retention will happen

Yes its worth it considering the UI and optimization changes but removal of SOLO is just temporary but the sad reality is that this is their last resort. If things doesn't improve then removal of SOLO is gonna stay there until things get better but never will.

Loss of SOLO is not worth it because playing with randoms will give you insane amount of brain damage. All of us are toxic, some just doesn't wish to say harmful things to others and in my case, I wish to help people on the right track but even the new players themself refuse to learn from some veterans. I felt like I had brain cancer this update.

Now let's talk about the good stuff, many more skins and additional optimisation update because everyone is playing on their potato PC. Lobby to troll around while the plebs gaming on their mac is still on the loading screen.

We got a new fancy mobile app called "ER LAB" that nobody asked for and built in OP.GG in it when we could just browse it on the web. We now have campfires! Oh my god who the hell suggested campfires? Are we gonna have tents too and horses next update?

We have this Wilson launch anniversary event during the release. It's all our consumer money ended up being a Wilson space program instead of addressing majority of the issues of the game.

1.0 feels like a very fresh take for the game. Different pacing, new mechanics and abilities, squad focused.
Give it a chance if you want to enjoy something new

Okay, hoping that playerbase grows though, that was my main concern for this game the whole time
I'm having a great time even with randos each game. The changes feel fresh and transition items feel a lot easier to get. The game can feel a little fast at times so its important to know when you can slow down and craft. Food and SP items feel like they get used a lot faster than in previous builds of the game but that may be a result of the increased amount of fighting that happens early on.

Overall, I would say go for it. The IP and devs deserve an honest shot. If everyone who likes the game stops playing it because they are worried about playerbase it creates a very toxic feedback loop. The playerbase has been stable in NA at least for the last few days so I'd be optimistic for now. Very short queue times as well.

It's actually a lot more fun than expected to queue with randoms (mostly solo player here) so I'm satisfied, looking forward to see how this game develops!

You should try the game right now, since finally it's got some kind of "live" playerbase.

There are more people playing this game than ever before so I would say yes.
Akamirus Jul 23, 2023 @ 2:14am
Finding a match is much faster now
Paulo Ramos Jul 23, 2023 @ 8:58am
yes but you are going to play as a team only.
