I want to disable the Auto-calibrating camera
I don't know what else to call it.. but when the camera tries to center itself behind your character when you move. I don't want that, I don't like it... I tend to know where I'm moving and I want to look around but NOT have to fight the auto-calibration while I do so. A really old habit built in WoW, to keep an eye on my surroundings while remaining mobile. It's always irritated me if a camera tries to center itself.

Alternatively, lengthen the amount of time before it begins to auto-calibrate. If I touch my right thumbstick at all, give me 3-5 seconds before it tries to center itself. That way if I'm ever looking around, I'm never fighting against the camera to do so if I also choose to move.

there's something in camera movement that i don't like too, can't say what properly cause my english sucks, but somethings definitly wrong there.
+ when you enter in combat there is something like an "auto camera lock", not lock on target but slighty movement restrictions somehow.
all this details gives me motion sickness sometimes.

Oh ♥♥♥♥! Thank you for mentioning this. I will not buy this game now. I HATE auto centering cameras in TPS games.

Is there no option to disable auto-centering?

EDIT: Oh, you are playing with gamepad. How does it work with kb+m?

As far as I know, it doesn't auto-center on kbm. I was just testing and it stays where ever I look.

Ah, thanks. That's good then.

I'm having issues with the camera as well - it's "jumping" around sometimes and totally messes up my view. I'll be sprinting along a narrow path and then for no reason the camera jumps to a new position and I run right off.

It also turns itself around completely when I'm in tight spots trying to jump around, such that I have to keep track of my surroundings to know what direction I'm facing so that I don't accidentally end up running back the way I came.

It's been a while, but we finally added the camera steering setting! You can turn it off now in the gameplay settings as per patch 8. Looks like this: https://server.twirlbound.com/images/patch8/autosteering_gif_o.gif

There's much more in that patch too (including multiple camera fixes), here it is: https://steamcommunity.com/games/1042780/announcements/detail/2484246672676569654
