Camera Turn Rate

Doing a 180 degree turn takes several seconds, is this an intended feature or some weird mouse+keyboard bug? Want to give this game a go but if this is how the camera works in this game I am out.

you can adjust the sensitivity in the settings.
But i also find the camera turning a little weird, the smoothing seems way too strong (makes moving the camera somewhat spongy), there should be a setting to adjust that too.
