Fatesworn Is F**K**G Terrible.., I Will NEVER Play It Again...!

I actually loved this game, but after this I highly doubt that I will EVER play it again. IF I do happen too however, I will NOT be playing this dlc again..

This has turned a game that I enjoyed into something I hate.. I will finish it, purely for the achievements, but that will be it for me.

Everything is just "too much"... Too many portals, filled with too many of the MOST annoying enemies there are... A tip for the devs... MORE is NOT always better.., MORE does not mean harder, it is just damn annoying...

I won't even go into the bugs, like losing all your potion recipes, or some of the level design, as there is no point. I am extremely upset with this dlc as I had been looking forward to it since it was announced and now I doubt I will ever play this game again...

Also, why is that most of the "bad guys" all have to talk
so slowly ?? Also damn annoying....

True. This DLC is isn't good, not for 20$. This is called SCAM. Don't wait a sequel with THQ Nordics. THQ Nordics always f*k up the games like Darksiders.

While I am personally enjoying it I will agree that I'm getting Titan Quest Ragnarok "quantity over quality" vibes although it doesn't feel as bad as that. A lot of dungeons or caves feel long just to be long and a lot of the buildings and npcs feel like they are there just to be there and are pointless of lifeless. Sure there are some npcs that talk but they're mostly just related to quests and I don't like how houses are pointless there to be entered. If there is nothing in a building then why bother making an interior. I guess they wanted the map to feel busy and full of stuff but imo if it's pointless then why have it. A few specific examples of pointless interiors that b just feel n like you're running just to run are madding winds prison like why is that place so pointlessly big as well as the bank.

I guess that to some people having the map full of npcs makes it feel alive but when I run around and they all say "settler/villager/merchant" then it's pointless to me. I would rather have kept it lower in scale like the original where everything geeky like it had a purpose and even random houses or npcs had a story to tell.

TLDR - while I am enjoying the new dlc and its better than I expected, there is a clear quantity over quality issue with world building and level/world design.

Edit: the ending and story overall of the expansion was bad, dlc not recommended overall unless you really want more space to run around in, you're not missing anything if you only bought the "base" game.

If you are okay supporting Epic then go for it, the whole game is a steal at 12$ as you get the main classic game and its two dlc plus the new dlc assuming you're talking about the FATED edition.

A patch isn't going to fix the quantity over quality issue in the new dlc but the main game is worth it.

Its is also pretty damn usless to manage your games.. or even FIND them.. I like the ' free ' games they give away .. but from a consumer perspective that thing is set up like crap.. You think they could afford better.. heh

Yeah it's a personal thing and if you don't care then go for it. I mean I'm not a "anti epic" zealot (most of the time) and I do appreciate and play the free games but I can't see myself ever choosing to buy something there.

To your first two points I can manage. The rest about Fortnite and the future... I expire to. Who knows what the future will bring. They are giving an offer hard to refuse for those interested.

The story of the dlc is fine but the combat is just SO annoying, especially in and around those portals. They have crammed in as many of the most annoying enemies as they possible could...

By annoying, I mostly mean ones that always interrupt your attacks. If you lucky you get 1 or 2 hits in for every 5 or 6 of theirs.. It's like every time you go to strike a Niskaru or a damn boggart whacks you, or one of those little exploding ones blow up next to you..

Also those F'N mages, HOW are there nSO MANY mages in the world..? and they only know 2 spells... Almost every fight with the Preordained has at least 3 of those arseholes, sometimes more.. Every time you try to attack your hit by those damn mini tornado's or fireballs.. That is what is SO damn annoying..

Obviously "someone" thought to themselves how can we make it harder.... Answer, MORE enemies..... WRONG.. Either that or they deliberately made it annoying just to P**S as off.

How about instead of whining about everything you spend more time listing specific issues like the "annoying" mobs you mentioned and submitting it to the devs. Seems like your complaint would be addressed if they adjusted attack frequency of enemies and reduced spell spam by enemy mages.

Just yelling "this expansion is ♥♥♥♥" doesn't really do anything but paint oneself as a whiney child.

I love this Expansion but I agree there are some definite areas for improvement.
