I've done what was needed, but I'm not getting any achievements?

Just bought the game, unfortunately evrything moves extremly slow like as if it's in slo-mo-mode. I suspect this not what it should be. can I some how accelerate the ingame mechanics/animations? as an example: it takes the farm's windmill 1minute and 37 seconds for one full turning cycle, is that normal?...

Hopefully the last patch did the trick and the game is now more enjoyable. I am extremely flattered that people want to see more of the game, truly I am, but this game is a 3 dollars tower defense game, the first "real" game I ever made and I actually never thought more than a few people would play it.
