can we get more of the small mechs?
I love this mod, though I rarely use the larger mechs as well they are pretty much usless outside of exterior exploration and killing. yeah you can use them for some of the boss fights, but they are more of a chore. that and if I lose the railgun mech to another small bird I am going to scream....[screaming noices]


intro aside can we have some more small "power armor" type mechs like the lower two?

bellow are some suggestions.




excovator xr-01
info: based of the sigma mech, the excovator is small light and cheap. having less armor and weapons capabilities the any other mech. That said it is not a fighter instead it is a miner.

equipment
primary: laser drill
info: a short range drill that hits a 10x2 (ten long 2 wide) area mining out all rocks, warning is blocked by liquids.
damage: 1 per hit, 10 hits per second (does not increase)

secondary: vacum pack
info: holding secondary vacums any material into the mechs storage compartment on its back. this storage compartment has a 8x4 grid for storage and is located on the rear top of the mech.

other
excavation jets: do to the excovator having less armor and almost no drain from a weapons system its jump jets last almost indefenantly, though they are still slow on the movement.






s-13 raven
info: a sleak streamlined version of the so sigma mechs, the raven is built for fast on land movement, do to this it has light armor and even lighter weapons.

features
sprinter jets: the raven's jump jets are aimed at the back, this means that while jumping you can rocket forward.
reverse jointed legs, designed for fast movement they can go faster then any other movement type in the game... except the hover bikes.

weapon
primary: LMG
info: a light machine gun with a forward down aim. does moderate damage can't aim up

secondary: missile swarm
info: fires a swarm of missiles forward or up, has a long cool down.

ht-05
info: comissioned by the apex rebels the ht-05 is a ball of heavy weapons in a small package. though it is so overloaded with gear that they had to replace the standard legs with a set of tredds. said tredds have a minor mobility problem where they can only go up 3 block high areas at max.


features:
2 seats in a small form: passanger seat is exposed above, but has access to the biggest gun, can be crewed by other players or crew member npc's(if possible)
heavy tread base: it can not jump, but it has more health then some of the bigger mechs. it is also limited in movement as it is meant for forward assaults in war.

WEAPONS

driver
primary: quad cannon
info: the dual miniguns have been replaced with plasma flak guns, that fire explosive ordenance at their targets, this means a reduced fire rate, but a massive damage bump, though it comes at a cost, in the fact that you can only fire 20 round bursts before heat build up causes it to force cooldown. (energy based)

secondary: energy lance
info: mounted to the tredd base is two sets of energy lances designed for impact hits, these lances are also capible of leveling terrain allowing the ht-05 to move unhindered though low hills.


gunner
primary: 40mm long cannon
info: a large tank like cannon, mounted to the left side of the gun, slow to fire but deals heavy damage. like the chest grenade launchers on another one of the mechs explosives leave pools of fire.
note: only has a 20 degree cone of aim.

secondary: point defense gun
info: a small LMG is mounted to the front center of the turret, acts like a low grade spray and prey machine gun, has a 45 degree aim area.
note: not used by AI crew.


side suggestion
apex rebels have mechs. would be a minor building add to their bases to have disabled sigma class (small), mechs. these mechs would be background items. along with them, would suggest some apex rebels having standard sigma mechs that they are using.

suggested layout.
mech bay: small bunker has barbed wire all over the top, inside is 1 damaged backround sigma mech or either s-01, s-07, or ht-05 types. said mech can not be used by the player and is just a background item. area would have a few science parts 2 minidrone intel racks, and a few crates which may contain repair chips.
sub version: rarely one may spawn with a working mech being used by an apex soldier.

it is a heavily weaponed light armor mech with medium movement and it is designed for spec op purposes as the legs and weapos are designed to have hardlyany to know noise depending on the version, it is hardly taller than the player and has dash jets such as the raven but they aren't as efficien


primary weapon:silenced LMG
a silenced LMG not as high caliber bullets as one may expect but the bullets will easily rip through body armor


secondary weapon:a shock weapon
like a tazer this weapon will shock the enemy into submission, mainly for capture not kill missions it can be lethal if used more than once on a entity

added a third idea to the main post, thought I posted it but forgot. is just a heavy weapons system for the small ones. will likely post a larger version idea in another topic later. that is if this topic goes anywhere.

I-24 Zeta Mech

A sister line of mechs to the Rho series, created for the purpose of causing a large ammount of damage in a short ammount of time at the cost of shielding. Small enough to sneak into enemy bases and cause a ton of damage before either escaping or releasing its full payload. Appears as a humanoid mech not much larger than a player character.

Left Click: Miniature Gatling Gun

A small, compact version of a gatling gun capable of around 250 rounds per minute. Takes a small ammount of time to warm up. Starting out, will have little to no recoil, but will increase slowly as the weapon warms up.

Right Click: Sticky Bomb Barrage / Detonate

Launches a group of five sticky bombs in a cluster that can destroy foreground tiles. Power, spread and distance launched depends on how long the right mouse button is held. Once launched, the bombs can be detonated at any time and last until someone either steps on the bomb or 10 minutes pass. Sticky bombs must be manually detonated before a second barrage can be launched.

Military Mech Hybird

A mech used in the Humen Military before the protectorate Created For the Purpose of Being a Hybird Mech / AI its basicly The Moose Mech from chappie (i said that due to me loveing the movie chappie) with a AI. The AI went rogue and destoryed the Lab And Is out there (this is the time for a mission to look for the rogue mech and take the blueprint) After you get to the mech you would destory it and take a Blueprint and take it to the vehicle shop.

left click: Rocket / Mini Gun

This is a Hybird mech so it has a Selection of guns but the rest of the mechs were destoryed but one witch its blueprints were fine too. The Mini-gun Is a Rapid fireing Gun while the rockets will shoot 1 time per 10 seconds (this is based off of a terraria gun instead of rockets were grenades)

right click: Drone

The Mech is a Hybird dumby so its a drone carrier / Mech. The Drones (only 4 drones) have LMGs only one has a aegisalt pistel type weapon cause the other drones weapons were torn off by AI Constructer Robots

Special: The Mech Is a Drone carrier too so it has a Strong jetpack that will make you fly up and it will start to get slower and slower when you are higher and higher intill it stops and you are hovering (Tip This could be a Way To bring out your drones) ''Edit'' For the blueprint i may want you to add like a mech Bench That is 4x4
