Unfortunately, my third party host doesn't allow upload or creation of a .bat file.

@Leah Snow if you already have a DayZ server running then you already have a .bat file. I'm guessing that you're using a GSP (game service provider) in which case you won't be able to see the .bat, but you should be able to select arguments to be added to the command line and the mods you wish to use through whatever control panel your GSP uses.

If your GSP doesn't support mods, get a better GSP.

My GSP does and has supported mods. Things have broken for us since 1.02, even with a clean wipe and install. I'm still trying, lol, but to no avail. :steamhappy:

step 8 is wrong. it tells you to use the @RPCFramework mod but it needs to be the the Community Framework mod

True. I paste the old bat parameters. Updated with the correct info. Thanks dude!.

For TRUgaming Hosted Servers:
- For Steps 1) & 2):
There is a startup.bat file but we can't see it. Editing the startup.bat file is done by using the command line editor on the dashboard.
Use the center option because it includes the "-scrAllowFileWrite" suffix.
In the field, plug in @modfoldername1;@modfoldername2;@modfoldername3, in this case @Community-Framework;@Permissions-Framework;@Community-Online-Tools
Hit the save button, top left.
- For Step 3)
The "profiles" directory is directory called "default". Build the folder set up there.
- default\PermissionsFramework\Players
- default\PermissionsFramework\Permissions
- default\PermissionsFramework\Roles
- default\CommunityOnlineTools\GameModule_BaseBuilding
- default\CommunityOnlineTools\GameModule_Vehicles

I am confused when I load the game launcher and select the Community-Online it also loads Community-Framework, but in the Guid you tell me to load RPCFramework, even in the Workshop original post it is RPCFramework, but The Launcher doesn't want RCPFramework it wants Commnuntiy-Framework

You ment in the guide (*Guid)? Please tell me where it says that you should load "RPCFramework" so I can fix it, because in the last step it clearly says:

12) All set. Run your START.BAT file. Open your Dayz Launcher, and load the following 3 mods: Community-Framework; Community-Online-Tools,Permissions-Framework. Then hit play.

RPCFramework was replaced by the Community-Framework mod. So you should only use those 3 I mentioned in the last step of the guide.

"Modify the "serverDZ.cfg" file with you server name and general parameters" Im not real good with this stuff... what does it mean by my server name and what are general parameters?? Thanks

You need to open the "serverDZ.cfg" file with notepad or any other text editor and edit/complete the info inside. Here you have the explanation of every parameter (you can add more of course) from the devs itself: https://forums.dayz.com/topic/239635-dayz-server-files-documentation/

Long story short, there is where you set your server name, add a pasword if you want, set the max amount of players and so.

"PermissionsFramework" - This item does not exist. It may have been deleted by the author. What?
