The favored godchild of the wind - that's what they call Lyralei. She didn't like that name much. It wasn't because the wind destroyed her former family, nor was it because she was too weak to control the wind. It was, in fact, that her power was too strong that she wasn't able to completely control it. At times her power would unintentionally hurt other people, sometimes even herself. Troubled by the young Windranger, the wind god - Zephyrus - came to her aid. He taught her how to control her power, taught her how to be sufficient with a bow. But before he could teach her everything, Zephyrus had to leave because he could never stay at one place for long as a god of wind. Before parting with the young Lyralei, Zephyrus gave her one more gift - his blessings, which took form as a set of armor, bow and quiver, to aid Lyralei on her journey to perfect her power. Lyralei accepted his blessings, but had never seen Zephyrus again ever since.
Now having perfected her power and confidently accepted her title as the Favored Godchild of the Wind, Lyralei dons the armor set again, in hope that Zephyrus would see her, now matured and beautiful, and be proud of her.

I wanted to portrait a younger Lyralei, so I'm giving her short hairstyles. I'll give her long hair for the next WR set :D
