Blindrun
First puzzle was great, easy-medium in my opinion. Loved the aesthetic touch where you could actually see the sky. Second puzzle… eh, not too big a fan of weird-angled laser puzzles. It was okay. Kinda solved it by accident though, so definitely not as big of a feeling of satisfaction as I’d get from other types of puzzles.

I definitely like some of the things you do outside of the chambers though. It makes the facility feel even more broken than the original Overgrown chambers.

Overall for me this series isn’t too hard so far, I’d say easy-medium but definitely closer to the “medium” side of things. Like I said in Part 0 this reminds me of the difficulty I had solving some of the harder official chambers.

Difficulty: 4.5/10
Enjoyed: 7/10

Why are the Companion Cubes always out of reach?!
Very interesting puzzles

That was really good. I wish I’d noticed that there was a part 0 before I done part 1 tho lol

Broke my brain... nearly.
Muzozavr Nov 23, 2022 @ 2:51pm
UPDATE: Watched a video by BlurSentinel (yours no longer seems to work), OK, there IS a more sensible solution (and no loose tile abuse needed), but the way the bridge is set up, it can very easily seem impossible. I tried something in a similar vein, only to discard it and solve it in an even worse way. But still, no. This second part is just not good design.
Muzozavr Nov 23, 2022 @ 2:45pm
Downvoted for the second part. First one was nice, but one laser/two cubes/six relays? You kidding? That was so bad, and worst of all, the solution (assuming mine is correct) is unbelievably, ridiculously finicky to execute. You really couldn't put that one relay just a bit further away from the corner, could you?

(Though I'll admit having to actually USE a loose tile for something was a fun touch, but goddammit, *why*. Angled laser trial-and-error is never good.)

perfect

Congratulations on making the single hardest chamber I've ever played, 10/10 map.

Cool
waghihgaghhhhn Sep 21, 2021 @ 12:06am
it is good.

The first test is fantastic, the second is lame as hell.
Jenifer (She/her) Mar 27, 2021 @ 9:05am
That was quite the challenge... I LIKE!!
onihunter131 Oct 14, 2020 @ 2:10pm
Mate I'm pretty sure the test is supposed to actually be functional
Havoc63 Sep 23, 2020 @ 7:00am
It was one hell of a nightmare to position the laser cube into that corner. I almost blew up.

nice map good job
Calwin Oct 5, 2019 @ 5:32am
Easier than the first, sometimes I get intimidated by puzzles and I sort of get dumber, I'm concious of it now so I'm sort of able to snap out of it. It's good training for mental health, just stay focused and calm and u figure things out bit by bit.
Okta25 Jun 29, 2019 @ 2:59pm
Very cool map, but at the second puzzle you have to be EXTREMELY precised. 9/10 because of the second chamber.
sumfuka Nov 8, 2018 @ 3:27pm
Very good, nice challenges that require a bit of thinking.
Lepo Oct 2, 2018 @ 1:07am
First puzzle was good and logic, the second one with laser i have to admit i solved it a bit randomly, just by shooting semi-randomly portals and try to get the right angle.
Anyway, solid map.

That was freakin' awesome, thanks!
vallibus Apr 5, 2018 @ 2:31pm
Very, very nice map.
Winobot Oct 19, 2017 @ 12:01pm
i enjoy how those dummies whine and leave shit commonts here.
LB Sep 6, 2017 @ 7:37pm
I have to say, I'm really disappointed. Part 0 was great, but this part is just a very easy puzzle followed by a dumb guess-the-angle segment with a bunch of relays. That wasn't fun or challenging, just tedious.
Nader Jun 24, 2017 @ 11:31am
Solved the second chamber laser part, its quite easy once you get the main idea.
vtipoman May 26, 2017 @ 1:57pm
Was I supposed to use a loose tile to get the laser over the rubble ?

I mean, it DID work..
mobsta Lobsta May 21, 2017 @ 10:40pm
this was hard. ty for the challenging map
Koitenshin Mar 12, 2017 @ 8:02am
I have to downvote this particular part because of the second chamber. I solved it but 6 targets for one laser, are you nuts? Alignment issues abound.
torax+***** Feb 15, 2017 @ 5:01pm
Part systematic, part luck on the lazer puzzle. Did the first one wrong as well but figured it out.

Look at what is at hand (ok, need to change _that_, what can be done?) and most of the time it works. (Or at least sometimes)
Petutski Jan 15, 2017 @ 10:01pm
Nice looking map. Logical and fun. Thanks!

And just when you think you're out...
One Man Jul 15, 2016 @ 7:22am
well.the second one seemed hard at first...But just because I thought That laser wall needs two lasers to get disabled ... !..After I saw there are two walls in There it was pretty easy. Actually the whole test wasn't hard ..just needed some attention and locating power !(for locating all those stuff !)....nice one.
ahmadsyar Jun 23, 2016 @ 8:59am
that's a tough one. actually, two
dv8skp May 28, 2016 @ 11:49am
Just... Amazing.
EwItsJosh Apr 28, 2016 @ 3:57pm
For me it says 'there was a error downloading the elected map!' how do you fix that?
:steamsad:
Zuntak Mar 18, 2016 @ 1:04pm
Looks great so far, except the parts with companion cube, that was a torturing :steamhappy: :spirallove: :p2turret:
Spaceminnow Mar 9, 2016 @ 12:43am
Good job with this map. I enjoyed it :)
aqmlyn Feb 27, 2016 @ 5:12am
Ah, ha, ha...I found the 2056 on one of the walls in the fizzler test...
Boxkiller9000 Jan 24, 2016 @ 12:53pm
I just wanted to tell you that i almost cheated. I try to limit my cheating to not take away from the game. I added one more laser cube too make a total of 3. and at the last secound i solved it with the original cubes and the one i made. I wanted to say this becuase I think it was just dumb luck that i figered it out in the end.
z34chris Dec 21, 2015 @ 4:12pm
laser puzzle is a bit fiddly and requires knife edge precision :/
dmuk Oct 4, 2015 @ 1:42am
Always like these overgrown style chambers; never know what's going to happen next!
GrtWhtBuf Oct 2, 2015 @ 12:41pm
Good Chamber!
Pamsy Aug 18, 2015 @ 11:56pm
Good map - part 1 has a clean solution, you don't need to rescue the companion cube .
Gerontocracy Aug 7, 2015 @ 1:59pm
fun map. Lazers part took a little head scratching.
XaetaCore Jan 1, 2015 @ 7:20am
Poor Companion cube!
Miami Mike Dec 1, 2014 @ 1:55pm
I agreee with TS_Mind_Swept about the companion cube. One of the points of the "How To Make Great Puzzles" sticky post in the discussion forum is to not have red herrings. Other than portable panels, the player should be able to assume every element is relevant.
patalayus Nov 15, 2014 @ 12:13pm
Great chamber! Very well done! I found it very challenging but enjoyable, thanks so much! :D
Kazitor Oct 15, 2014 @ 3:38am
Also, how do you do water droplets?
Kazitor Oct 15, 2014 @ 3:29am
I feel guilty breaking the perfect 111 comments, but what skybox texture did you use? I can't find a good one.
AA Sep 20, 2014 @ 3:38pm
Very sad end =(
PaperTib Jul 26, 2014 @ 3:39pm
very good !
