What's the best unit to pump out early? (In your opinion ofc) What's the best unit to take cities with? It's a bit much to take in all the new units and all my regular tactics obviously aren't working anymore xD Would love some coaching!

My issues were my own fault, I had forgot to uncheck an extended era's mod that was causing really odd issues. All is well without it on. I installed Advanced Custom Setup, howeve rhe Faerun maps are not in the list when opening the custom advanced window. Is there anything I can do to get the map to load? I think hotseat will work, just need the map. Thanks, and really nice work on the mod!

This is really amazing, thank you! I know in a future update I'd love to see Tieflings/Fey'ri Warlocks. Ever since Neverwinter Nights 2 I have loved playing them. Also is there a way to have a character change into a were creature? I know next to nothing about creating anything in the game. Was just curious if something could be done based on having to ready some ranged artillery units. Elven Archer is rushed by melee, changes to werewolf. Anyway just idle thoughts and hopes. Truly epic job :)

@tbpkrark Next small update includes a more "big quest" monsters with different rewards, including massive experience for all friendly nearby units when the boss is killed.

Love it. Would it be possible for you to make the extra strong barbarians (dragons, necromancers, ogres, etc) give more exp than normal units when killed? It would be so much more satisfying to kill them!

How can I disable the overpowerd adventurers and special creatures?

The game always evolves into a giant wait game where 90% of the units are completely useless.

This was the first mod I ever is superb . Even though I didn't know any of the civs and just grabbed Mithral Hall because I like Dwarves.

This mod is full conversion and will not stack well with ANY other mods. By itself though, looks really good!

This is a fricking outstanding mod...changes the whole game and makes it like new. Im still re learning everything and love it. Love the little events that pop up all over the place!! Dont have any idea whypeople are staying they are having money issues, because everything seems ok to me...dont like your start then restart!! Again, great job and cant wait to see what else you either add or come up with. Would love to see more Deities in the game, but thats a small thing.

I can't believe this requires "Gods and Kings" expansion. I have the "Brave New World" expansion which has everything from "Gods and Kings" except some of the Civs... Is there any way to make this work for those of us with only the Brave New World expansion?

This is a pretty great idea for a mod and it's obvious a lot of time went into it. There are some good ideas in here, but it's just not fun to play. Civ is not a fast-paced game even normally, but this mod makes it move at a glacial pace even on quick. Everything progresses so slowly and there are way too many obstacles to progression. Artificial limits on how many cities you can settle, how many of a certain type of unit you can have, extremely low yields on gold and food so cities take forever to expand and it's nearly impossible to avoid going into the red on gold production.

After spending a few hours with it, I can't recommend it.

Clerics dont heal. How do they work? only says heals nearby units by 10HP. well if they are right next to them nothing happens :(
Do they only heal specific units or some tech u gotta research????

love the idea, however upon installing the mod and activating it, the entire game crashes when trying to start a new play through. no other mods even subscribed to, mods database deleted and all your steps followed. any further ideas to allow me access to what im sure is a wonderful mod?? please and thank you!!!

Of course you can win expansion, the charter sytem just wont let you build new cities, nothing says you cant conquer someone elses.

The other victory conditions are red herrings, you can't win expansion - you'll never control a vast amount of tiles due to the charter system and you can't win religous because that goal post keeps moving - majority in every city and you can't remove other religions, plus the other civs keep creating more cities.

Go for the magical victory and form a highly mobile monster posse with heroes and cavalry to go hunting necromancers, shadow druids and dragons. The rewards for killing these are great. I also got a suprise attack by an angry ogre which was scary. The creatures summoned through spells are fun as well. The wonders are interesting too, some of these look cool, I loved Undermountain. It does capture the D&D spirit in a way.

Excellent Mod! Lots of detail and work gone into this.

What's really telling is the way this plays so differently from normal Civ 5. The spell system instead of culture policies is good fun and clever. My arcanists had so many special promotions listed they went off screen!

This ruleset is quite restrictive and prevents the usual expansion path, but this is a good thing because it allows you to focus on the cool stuff like the monster quests. In my game I won with just 4 cities - pop 10 x 3 and 9 at the end.

You can only win a magical victory - which is getting all the spells of 4 schools and then being allied to 4 magical city states. The best way I found was to use your max of 4 explorers to explore the map and find all the city states and then wait until the last few turns before you complete the spell schools and then buy off 4 magical city states with a large lump sum of gold to secure their alliance and victory.

The graphical issue is not the mod but a single unit in the mod. Disabling "GPU Texture Decode" under Video Options may solve the problem.

Dunno if this is the mod or not, but whenever I try to start a new game using the mod, I get major graphical errors that hurt my head just to look at, with this black void that's constantly in flex, taking up more of the screen.

How do you get charters other than the one you intialy start with? I know that ye can trade for them with other civs but nother then that i have no idea...
