Pretty dam good for something “ put together one evening ” – totally new concept to me. Thanks
Petutski Aug 13, 2016 @ 7:20pm
Ha! Played this one a year ago and did not remember is thing. Great map.. with longevity!
Petutski Oct 22, 2015 @ 4:53pm
Nicely done. Logical and fun. I am glad I wore my bulletproof vest when I jumped to the exit.

I have worked with other editors in other games... Hammer is a bear to work with... I geuss I just don't understand it yet... I will try again with the suggestions you made...
Skyferret  [author] Jun 11, 2015 @ 9:02pm
Or unless you mean the 2D views.
Skyferret  [author] Jun 11, 2015 @ 9:01pm
@Spaceminnow. Something tells me your camera view is in wireframe view. The default editor layout should put the camera view at upper left section. The camera view should show the word "camera" in the upper left. Click on it and select 3D Textured.
Spaceminnow Jun 11, 2015 @ 8:32pm
For something you just put together it looks good :) It was fun to play too. I don't understand how you did this in one evening. I can navigate simple P2 editor easily. Hammer is a nightmare for me right now. I loaded one of my maps into it. I can't seem to make sense of the wire frames :(
Bad_Aim Jun 10, 2015 @ 11:23pm
Went back and did it right :)
Bad_Aim Jun 10, 2015 @ 11:07pm
Yeah, I figured as much. I may have to try it again and do it right
Skyferret  [author] Jun 10, 2015 @ 4:13am
@Bad_Aim. It's been a while, but I think yes. It should suck 'em up and hit the grated barrier above them.
Bad_Aim Jun 9, 2015 @ 11:12pm
I think this is one of your easiest ones. Always fun killing turrets though!
Was I supposed to use the suction to kill the last set of turrets? I opted for some manual robo-trashing

As the author and I have discussed on other blue error maps, the newer BEE Mod versions don't always play well with maps created with old ones, and vice versa. I have the latest BEE Mod installed and I still see blue error signs instead of whatever element the author is fond of using. Some authors somehow can hardcode their mods and the player doesn't need anything extra installed. Don't know how they do that.

As for the map, wonderful. The turret destruction is a bit easier than other maps by this author with turrets (place portals, watch turrets fly) but the puzzle is quality work.
Skyferret  [author] Nov 5, 2013 @ 12:10am
Ah yes, the big blue error indicators. Some see that and strangely enough, some don't. It recently came to my attention that it could be that if you do not have the BEE2 Mod installed, you'll see the errors. It could be that you don't have certain files like .VMT or other entities that are contained in the BEE2 Mod. Which begs to differ because the original game that's just cheese and pepperoni has venting tubes in it. But anyhow, thanks for playing.
psn_markm1978 Nov 4, 2013 @ 11:28pm
A tad bit on the easy side, but fun nonetheless. Thumbs up! One thing I found odd was the big blue ERROR words attached to a # of the pipes in your level. Very odd if they were intentionally placed there.

Silhouette Oct 7, 2013 @ 11:17pm
Nice. I also got errors on my pipes instead of what is seen on the screenshots, but I still enjoyed the map.

Try one of my new maps? ^^
Skyferret  [author] Oct 6, 2013 @ 10:45am
Thanks for including my map in your video upload. And you're right about what you mentioned about front page maps. The one thing I hate is how turret bowling, or roller coaster maps get on the front page. They're not puzzle worthy
DeathWish808 Oct 6, 2013 @ 8:56am
I did a blind run of your map and recorded it.
The video description shows them in the order they are played in the video to help you find it.

Wow great chamber! Will be playing more of yours
popiel Oct 2, 2013 @ 12:21pm
I also am getting the error on the tubes. Otherwise, great level.
Richard L Oct 1, 2013 @ 11:30pm
Good one.
gambilier Sep 30, 2013 @ 10:36am
Enjoyed this one,thanks
Earthboy Sep 30, 2013 @ 10:30am
Good, in spite of the error messages. I would give it an easy rating even though there are a couple of good "hmm?" moments.
Skyferret  [author] Sep 29, 2013 @ 12:22pm
Thanks for playing. As for the "error" on the tubes, I don't think everyone is getting it. But now I'm kinda reluctant to publish another one I'm working on which has quite a few tubes already.
edeslash Sep 29, 2013 @ 11:31am
Great design! It's a shame it was so short. And for some reason I'm getting blinking blue ERROR text all over the tubes, instead of the dark glass in the screenshots.
Skyferret  [author] Sep 28, 2013 @ 7:03pm
I think I was debating over a fizzler instead of a flap panel before the last area, but I went with a flap panel thinking the player would use intuition and not get stuck. But your critique is noted. As for pipes I added, those were made with the BEE2 Mod.
wildgoosespeeder Sep 28, 2013 @ 11:42am
Instead of an angled panel blocking the last area, use a fizzler intead. It is possible for trapping in that configuration, even accidental. For the symboled links, make them antlines instead.

How did you get the pipes (not the vent)?

Try my coop map?
raycelbelmond Sep 28, 2013 @ 3:23am
Nice. In the last part we can just put a portal on top of turrets and grab them. It's easy to fix. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=172084757
Skyferret  [author] Sep 27, 2013 @ 8:14pm
Tom K: I suppose it would be possible to implicate one of each element for the entire map. I understand this puzzle is short and has just 2 levels, but I guess I didn't want the player to have to do any excess walking, or have to start all over if they fizzled the cube. But thanks playing. And also thanks for taking the time to record and upload your game-play.

As for all those errors, I'm just wondering if it because the player must also have have BEE2 Mod installed. The only other thing I can think of is because those tubes are just for looks, and when I put them in there I connected them in any vent flow direction. Maybe I'll subscribe my own map and see what happens.

metadavid Sep 27, 2013 @ 7:34pm
Quick and dirty, fun vacuuming the turrets!
[Tom K] Sep 27, 2013 @ 7:03pm
I enjoyed your map a lot. Just would appreciate, if there was a mechanics that used only ONE pneumatic thing and only one cube, because it is alwasy very impressive if you have to come back to elements that you already used at the very begin of your play in a certain map. It just makes you think "wow, i thought i'm done with this cube, but i have to go back and use it again". I think this is very nice to make people getting this thought. Of course, of course it's not easy to implement this, so definitely everything good with your map. Especially cause you kinda did this already as good as you could. The first cube has a doulbe purpose, and I also had to walk back to the second vacuum thing. So, you may simply ignore what I just wrote and said in the vid. A clear like! The map is really great, needs some more attention here.
[Tom K] Sep 27, 2013 @ 7:03pm
Hello. Here is my blind play of your map. See the video description to access your map (ok, it's at the beginning, but just so I can copy paste the text it stays here). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZAP01HTVBg

Nice one!
