Nice. Liked blinding the turrets with the light bridge.

Try one of my new maps? ^^

I didnt mind pushing over a few turrets.

The initial walk around the perimiter is a bit tedious. Other than that, good chamber.

Good job

Loved it! I'd point out to the same problems enumerated by everyone else, but I won't bother because the end was truly awesome. The leap of faith compensates for any lackluster aspect the map may (or may not) have. Make some time for one of mine (I recommend "Guards" or "Cheated")

Another thing you want to watch out for is too much danger. There's a ton of ways for the player to get killed here, and the sad truth about PeTI chambers is that players don't have the patience to try again, especially when the death feels cheap. There's a pretty big chance that a player accidentally steps on the plate that bounces the cube away if you don't catch it. That's a completely useless death.

But I've got to say the final solution is extremely elegant - giving yourself a path and moving the cube on the plate with a single portal. Especially since I was surprised by the wall moving in front of me when the cube is on the plate. When I realized how I can fix that, it was a great moment. So wonderful design right there.

Nice one! A couple of problems though; way too much running around in the pit, takes too much time and the player is completely unstimulated. It would work if moving the light bridge like that was a new thing to the player but it probably isn't. At first I actually thought I was supposed to catch the cube with a light bridge in the pit and then run around again, lol. Luckily I realized a better way before I did that. The good thing about the pit is the stylish way of foreshadowing the turrets. The player is given a hint about the danger but is still completely safe - but cannot be sure about the turrets' position.

But the turrets are another problem - they're useless. Killing them isn't even a puzzle, just a small obstacle and god knows why there are like ten of them. It just makes the whole thing feel pretty amateur, not Aperture.

It was good, but we should have some way of leaving the last room (the one with the exit), in case we make a mistake. The first time I just jumped there because I did not see the stairs, and I just had to restart the level. But it was fun :P

Echoing ZneX, I loved the last bit. It was a real "wait, what? oh" moment [that's a compliment].

Hello. Here is my blind play of your map. See the video description to access your map http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZAP01HTVBg

My feedback is in the video. Basically all I didn't find well done was the beginning, cause it's a lot of walking and the same 'challenge' - change bridge while you are on it - is a bit repetitive. But it doesn't feel to bad, because you reach the vertical bridge room quite quickly. Maybe the catapult with that you could accidentially suicide could also be named as a negative aspect of the map. But besides that, it's great. Especially the last puzzle is very nice! Great map!
ZneX Sep 27, 2013 @ 4:00pm
The beginning was a bit simple but really enjoyed the end puzzle.
Twenty Four Sep 27, 2013 @ 2:47pm
not bad, I like the "leap of faith" idea : )

I can trap myself WTF
wildgoosespeeder Sep 27, 2013 @ 11:50am
Some good stuff here but a few minor problems from it being better. Use antlines wherever possible. I have antline tricks in my profile screenshots.

I can trap myself because I can push pedestal buttons through grates.

I would block off the pedestal button more by stretching the grates near the entrance more (pictured) because someone can cause an "offset" with the light bridge portal placements and skip a chunk of the puzzle.

Try my coop map?

nice map
Bayram Sep 27, 2013 @ 6:44am
This map has some nice ideas, but I found the beginning too easy and just tedious, in particular walking around the perimeter on a light bridge and throwing down all the turrets . Overall, not very rewarding to play, so no rating either way.

Nice map, there's some alternate paths to do it, they're variations on the below vid.

Looking at that video i was actually overcomplicating, could've just gone around the bottom at the start and get that part sorted first (would've saved me that first jump).

Nice !
nintendo.erk Sep 24, 2013 @ 11:06am
Enjoyed it,
Although it would be nice if there was some connection visibility, it's nice to press a button and know what it does :)
I agree with Prototype, I also didn't use the vertical bridge but still, it's a nice map :)

That was rather entertaining, a couple of items could do with a symbol or an antline just to improve the chambers logical consistency but, other than that, the puzzles are quite well designed. I particularly liked the last move the player to do, you've evidently put a lot of thought into it and it's surprisingly creative. Just add in antlines or symbols where appropriate and you've got a good little chamber here.

I've got a little collection of chambers going and I'm always interested in feedback on each chamber or the collection as a whole. I'd be grateful if you'd have a look:

Nice little map. Didn't need the vertical lightbridge though...

I'm glad you liked it, although I admit I'm a little dusty, lol. Also can see from your run through that there are a few minor details that could make it better. Have to remember them for next time :)

Very nice map. I forgot to count my clicks, but I did record a blind-run. :) A very simple map but yet has a few of those moments to figure out how things work. A good formula for fun if you ask me. :)
