Its to early for DST version here, its only basic stuff in, we want to update RoG version with more stuff and then make it all to DST, so I'm just waiting for DST version of RoG to be added, before I start any more work on DS version.

it would be cool if you could make special chlothing out of special koalefants. like frost koalefant keeps you cool during summer and rocky koalefant makes you stronger. and mabey make some negative things then too. like rocky koalefant slows you down (sorry if i'm not the best in english)

Hi, I can't login to the forum. so i can only read the description, but not download it. Any chance you're gonna upload the DST version on the workshop? I'd really like to try it. Also , what happened to the special trunk loot? is it not portable to DST? sorry for that, it was a cool idea!

is there a way to tell if these special koalefants arent spawning in worlds becus of a specific mod cus i havent seen one in a long time

@The Stickerbrush Symphony The forest trunk does not make things grow out of nothing, it will fasten up the growing time on bushes/trees/farmplots etc.

Alright, tinkering with the mod i've found out several bugs:

1. The trunk of the forest koalefant doesn't seem to work at all, i use it on flat green areas and it doesn't grow anything. i've also tried to use it on a desert to see if it works but no luck either

2.Some of the periodical drops of the koalefants seem to be broken. To be more precise, the forest koalefant isn't droping fireflies and the albino koalefant isn't droping light bulbs

I'll provide more feedback if i find more bugs

Only spawning though. If I happen upon them in the wild from following their tracks there seems to be no problem and the game saves just fine without any issue (I know this because for a couple of days I've had a rocky koalefant and a frost koalefant in my pen, before getting the bright idea to simply spawn the others in), but whenever I spawn any, the second the game tries to autosave, (or I try to save+quit) I'm greeted with an error message...

With the new Hunt gamemode for DST, this seems like the perfect mod for it, especially with the trunks and their special abilities.

;w; Is there any way to make the Rocky Koalafant non-aggressive like the others? I was planning on collecting one of each Koalafant in the pen I made back at my base but he's so angry and Abigail keeps attacking him because of it. :c

Please add a koalefant that has a trunk have the same function as a beefalo horn but instead of taming beefalos for a while you tame all koalefants (not nightmare koalefant) for a while and make their poop holy!

Just tested and nightmare koalefant spawned like he should. Just to make everything clear new moon night is when the moon on the clock circle is all black.

Yeah maybe the light bulbs rot before I checked but for the nightmare koalefant I'm 100% sure it's still night because it's still dark & I was like "That doesn't look like a nightmare koalefant" so I checked on the time & it's still night

Lightbulbs spoils quite fast, so maybe they turned into rot before you got there.
It takes around 3,5 days to drop lightbulb, if your gameplay sessions are short, you may not find them at all, as component don't saves the time passed til next drop.
Its possbile you did that right when trasition to day happened and it was no longer night for the game, will check that again.

I've found a special koalefant track today at new moon & discovered the last track before daylight but ended up it's a forest koalefant instead of nightmare koalefant, not sure if it's intended or not? Also, my albino koalefant never drops any light bulbs... I got it for at least 3 seasons now & been checking on it every once in a while but never saw a light bulb, I'm playing on RoG

Bug report: The newly added ice koalefant tries to use ice as periodic drop regardless of whether the DLC is active. This wasn't a problem until I reloaded the world, now my world keeps crashing on load.
I can probably hack the ice out, but not everyone is experienced enough with mods to do so. Please mention this bug in the description, or set DS_base_comp to false, until you find a reasonable fix. (maybe use AddPrefabPostInit to set the RoG loot?)

Ooh! Maybe I wasn't specify clear enough with what I was thinking, it was actually something different... What I had in mind about the Shadow koalefant was something like a ghost form koalefant, one which you can only get by tracking the trails while you're insane & looks like the shadow creatures such as the Crawling Horror or the Terrorbeak which actually teleports when you attack it, was also thinking since the Nightmare koalefant looks like it has black fur maybe you can make it drop beard hair instead & make this Shadow koalefant drop nightmare fuel... The Skeleton koalefant though, it should have no flesh and only sleletons with red eyes and creepy looks and maybe able to summon ghosts to attack the player? It's okay if you don't like the idea though, just a thought anyway :D

A shadow Koalefant maybe? Which you can only hunt while insane or undead Koalefant which looks like a skeleton which you can only find them when there's no moon at night...

Is this RoG compatible? I used it with RoG on and got four lost trails over two differnt worlds. And no sucesses till I turned it off.

Losing tracks is a game feature.
You can have more than one koalefants.

And ever since I installed this mod, I have yet to see a normal koalefant. To avoid the bug, you can save and quit, turn the mod off, kill the koalefant, then turn it back on.
