You can actually fling the cube over the final wall to push the button to the exit bypassing the whole map. But it's a great map if done properly! :steamhappy:

Fun map. Nice portal and funnel management. I never sacrificed a cube but I don't think I skipped anything.

Great puzzle. I'd played Azorae's Attunement, but yours was different enough to still be interesting.

Dah! why didn't I see the correct solution in the first place. There really needst to be a ledge under the top set of portals above the cage so you can't hit it from below. jandlml, the angled pannel is the best part. There is a way to do it so that you leave a portal on the level above.

I finished it, but I think I did it differently than everyone else. Put the cube on the button in the lower level to open up the fizzler screen. Shoot a portal above the cage, then drop through a portal in the floor. Shoot another floor portal under you so you occilate. The shoot a portal in the funnel target pannel as you come up through the floor and straife to the upper level. The rest is pretty simple.

Wow, that was hard. I think I probably went through every possible trick I knew, trying out different combos/possibilities. Finally stumbled upon a combo that worked. I would add to Pamsy's hints another one: To move the cube upstairs, destroy the cube in the lower chamber with the fizzler . Great one Gigopler!

i finished it without throwing the cubebut i still dont know if i got the intended solution. i never used the angeled panel.

well i have been trying for the last 2 hours to get the intended solution. i am hopelessly stuck. i know what i have to do just cant figure out how to do it.

i dont think i finished this one right. i just threw the cube over the glass wall, dropped back down into the first room ,and followed the same beginning steps to the exit door.

Was having trouble with this, so tried Azorae's Attunement. Finishing that one made it much easier to think through this. Great map, favorited.

Terrific map. Two tricky steps. Hint 1: use the cube on all 3 buttons. Hint 2: Piston. Hint 3: give up the funnel portal --temporarily -- to bring the cube to the top floor.

Wait, so you can just throw the cube over the glass? So I went to the trouble of falling onto the fizzler emitters, walking to the edge and holding the cube safely clear of the fizzlers, and turning on the way down so the cube doesn't wind up on the wrong side of the glass for nothing?

I will try to find the intended solution later, I just have other things to do right now.

Lol, that was the best Aha moment i have had. I was a whisker away from solving it for hours, when i stumbled on to the last move. I thought, wait a miniute, i've just solved it, brilliant map.

Those who solved the original version may feel this one is rather easier. So do I. But the entire solution process was more enjoyable.

easy unintended

portal to the first button crouch and shoot portal to the top floor grab the cube throw it over the glas portal above to get to it place it on the button and go back around again and exit

Again another map from you gig that took me a while to solve. I like that, keep up the good work :) I'm not sure if you're supposed to be able to shoot at the portal plane above that cage from crouching on that button though.

1) That could be what makes the test better.

2) Probably, but this one reminds me even more of Piston due to the way I solved it.

1. I was just trying to get rid of the annoying step in Azorae's puzzle where he uses an orange funnel, then doesn't use it again.

2. Part of original is like piston.

Lacks the verticality of the original test...but somehow it feels improved. Part of the solution reminds me of the solution of Mevious' Piston.
