Description
The Elder Scrolls Places is a mini-series of Lore Friendly mods, each adding locations seen in Skyrim in The Elder Scrolls Chapter I: Arena (set in 3E 399), into the modern day (4E 200) Skyrim setting over 200 years later.

Oakwood is a small hamlet in Falkreath hold on the road between Falkreath and Riverwood. The inhabitants of Oakwood survive by hunting in the surrounding forests and fishing on the shores of Lake Ilinalta where the village is situated, as well as trading with merchants, farmers, hunters or adventurers who often stop on the road to Falkreath.

---------
Features

- The picturesque village of Oakwood (from Elder Scrolls Chapter I: Arena).

- NPCs with full day and night AI routines.

- A fully functioning Inn, Innkeeper (and merchant), bard and customers.

- Lore friendly and consistent with the style and themes of the rest of the game.

- New NPCs have functioning AI relationships and have background, stories and secrets delivered through in game Journals.

- Applicable locations in Oakwood are fully integrated into Radiant Quests (such as Thieves Guild Jobs).

- Road signs for Oakwood integrated into the world of Tamriel where applicable.

- Compatible with Dawnguard. No Prerequisites.
---------

---------
Patch 1.2

- Removed option of Bedlam jobs in this location, as they do not function correctly outside of Cities.
---------

---------
Patch 1.1

- Now compatible with Companions Radiant quests.
---------

---------
Patch 1.01

- Facegen data was left out of the .bsa Archive. This is now fixed, faces should appear as intended.

Troubleshooting

"Conflicts", CTDs or missing objects
- If crashes or failure to load assets/areas repeatedly occur, it is usually caused by one of two things:

a) Skyrim's limited memory allocation for the use of .esp (mod) files means using a lot of mods (especially large ones) will eventually cause the game to run out of memory and cause issues during gameplay. The solution is simply to use less mods.

b) The .bsa is conflicting with another archive from a mod using the same scripts/assets or otherwise failing to access it's data will cause the game to CTD in the front end menus. Try changing the load order first as the issue can sometimes cause "incompatibilities" between mods that would otherwise work together. If it still won't work, then disable other mods one at a time until it does.

this is the error i recieve in TES5edit. I made sure i deleted every oakwood file i had and even tried reinstalling to see if thst fixed the missing masterfile. I currently have the hearthfire edition installed because i made the mistake of installing this one first because i wasnt aware their was a hearthfire edition. How can I fix this?

Can someone please help me, I installed this mod then later switched for the hearthfire edition and found that it was causing a CTD around lake Ininalta by the guardian stones. so i deleted it but now this mod is causing a CTD right after the bethesda logo on startup, Ive narrowed it down to this mod and deleted it from my data folder, unsuscribed to this and deleted it from my mod load order and even emptied the recycle bin. Ive tried reinstalling it and uninstalling and repeating the delete process with no luck. I had another mod that probably conflicted with it, Bluecreek Estate but ive done the same to try to remove that one as well. There are no files of either left yet somehow when i try to run TES5edit It says there is an "error code 2" with the tos_oakwood.esp which this file does not exist in my computer. Ive removed any inactive mods and deleted any that may cause a conflict so now it is just this one file causing it. This is driving me crazy because I cant even play.

Just wondering... Do any of your mods actually conflict with one another?

Mine has started crashing when I go near Oakwood too. This has never happened before so I continually removed mods until I narrowed down the problem. Ironically, this was using a TESEDIT cleaned version.

When I reinstall Oakwood or Oakwood_hf with the 3 dirty edits the game stops crashing. This is a clear example where cleaning crashes a mod.
