Stalwart-class Light Frigate (Small Grid, 1:10 Scale)

Description
The Stalwart-class light frigate is an escort classification in the UNSC Navy. It is best suited for ship escort and scouting duties.

History
The Stalwart-class has a lighter armament than her sisters and less armor than a Paris, making her fairly weak in direct combat. However, she is well equipped for scouting, being the lightest and fastest frigate and has a longer travel range with multiple drives. Stalwarts can also outperform other frigates in-atmosphere.

Armament
Frigate MAC, Archer Missiles, Point Defense Guns

Equipment
Jump Drives, Assemblers, Long-range Optics

Tactics
When fielded in larger numbers, Stalwart-class frigates can screen a formation, engaging Covenant frigates and destroyers while allowing more powerful UNSC destroyers and cruisers to focus fire on the larger Covenant cruisers and carriers.

To use this ship: Enter the cockpit on the "Bridge" and control directly. The ship can also be remotely controlled.

They already use tiered thrusters, and if you want you can use the Midspace admin tools mod and scale them up in-world! Can't see myself ever returning to this particular series since the vanilla one is definitely better in every aspect

any chance that you could scale this up and use tiered thrusters?

Hmmm... I see what you mean. I am glad you still like the ships overall. The Vanilla stalwart is also a wee bit smaller, I think, since, given the absolutely weak tea power of vanilla thrusters, I had to cut a lot of weight to give it superior in-atmo maneuverability.

When I can get proper weapons (guided archer pods and updated MACs) I'll update this ship a bit as well.

I don't know, there are many just very small things I've noticed that I think look better on this one, I suppose it's entirely subjective. I like the front of the nacelles and at the base of the bridge more. Also, there are six hanger doors opposed to five which is correct right? I'm having so much fun with your ships; I'm modifying this frigate here to have a usable interior. I really like your ONI spy craft as well, I have two of them docked to the bottom of the frigate. I'd love to show you when I'm done.

I think the vanilla has more detail, I went as far as even going off the SOTP pictures to use different shades of grey to emulate different plates of armor. What do you think specifically what is missing with the vanilla version?

I think this one looks better than the vanilla one personally. Has more detail it seems. But yeah I don't know the best way of making an anniversary one but I think you should try, you're very good at making the perfect size halo ships.

I was wondering how to do that, I have made a new Stalwart-class that is vanilla, not sure how to make it look like UNSC In Amber Clad in Anniversary.

Yes, please make an Anniversary version! That would make me so happy

I replaced the stupid creactor with an X20 Arc Reactor, like the other frigates.

I guess basically the best way to put it is that the Stalwart is a stripped-down version of the Paris-class.
