May 11, 2024 - Season 1 - Update 9 (Mod Version 1.0.9)
New Save Game is Not Required
  • Fixed a bug where the Nanite swarmer sections were missing.

  • Fixed a bug that was causing the transport ship models for the new shipsets to not show up.




May 8, 2024 - Season 1 - Update 8 (Mod Version 1.0.8)
New Save Game is Not Required
  • Updated the mod for Stellaris 3.12 (A new game is not required if you started your current game AFTER the 3.12 Stellaris update. Games started on 3.11 or earlier will not work with this update.)

  • Added NSC classes to the two new shipsets from the Machine DLC.

  • Added NSC combat tactics slot and NSC special slots to the Offspring ships.

  • Added new icons for ship behaviors, some starbase modules, and some weapons, thanks to our new icon artist Aonova!

  • Updated the descriptions of some Fleet Doctrines to make it clearer what they are modifying.

  • Fixed a vanilla bug where the basic Torpedo Combat Computer did not upgrade to the Advanced computer properly.

  • Added the starbase civilian modules to the NSC Mod Menu so they can be turned on or off.

  • Fixed a text bug where the Harpoon Torpedo was still being referred to as the Harpoon Advanced Cruise Missile.




March 3, 2024 - Season 1 - Update 7 (Mod Version 1.0.7)
New Save Game is Not Required
  • Updated the mod files to Stellaris 3.11.

  • Greatly increased the AI weight for all NSC reactor technologies. The AI should put a priority on researching them now.

  • Significantly increased the number of utility slots on Offspring ships to give them more longevity in combat (per community request).

  • Fixed a bug where two turrets were missing on the Battleship Broadside Core.

  • Changed all "Exploration Cruiser" text to "Explorer" in the localisation files.

  • Fixed a bug where one of the Titan core sections was not displaying its name in the ship designer.

  • Fixed a localisation error that referred to Support Cruisers instead of Support Destroyers.

Nice, also not sure if it is already a thing but Nantite Mothership? (my thought is a titan esque ship that gives ships in the fleet base armor/shields to compliment the nanites)

For the mod menu, I can adjust the cost for ships. Does that affect all empires or just mine?

alastardevilsin666 - I haven't been told about a specific incompatibility between NSC and that mod, however I do know a couple other similar mods do interfere with NSC, so it's possible.

Hey I am running into a Problem with the Mod. I am playing with tons of Mods but I am mostly playing with the Star Wars Ships Mods and before I added a Mod which was the Ethics and Civics Classics. The Mod stopped working correctly like the Ship distances and the Subs mods that add the Better reactor boosters, better improved hulls, and the better crystal Plating mods. But none of that shows up when I use the Ethics and Civics mod. Is there a problem with the 2 mods or?

harozuken - My first goal was to get them working because I broke them LOL. We’re getting ready to do a major release of Season 2 of NSC3, so that feature will likely be part of that update.

not sure if this is in progress but can we get the NSC ship AI behavior module for he nanite swarmer ships? things keep running face first into enemy fire despite being on artillery combat computers.

Vakna - The mod is running fine. If you really are using ABSOLUTELY no other mods, no patches or addons, then follow the troubleshooting steps on this page, you’ve most likely got a botched Steam download.

Using only NSC and UI Overhaul Dynamic and my game crashes every time it reaches the title screen.
