(DISCONTINUED) Factional Balance

Description
Discontinued for 2.7.0 please use http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=882278234

This mod attempts to make factions and kill plots a little more dangerous and prevalent.

Common Features
- Independence factions can now form in your dejure lands in certain circumstances. Previously this would never be allowed to happen.
- Kill plots by the AI only happened in special circumstances. Now if anyone in your court dislikes you and is not already in a faction there is a chance they will plot to kill you.
- Factions (except increase council power) will never fire under 100% power. Factions will fire less often under 200% power.
- Very small kingdoms and empires increase chance for independence/crown authority factions to form.
- Faction members will no longer just leave if they like the faction leader alot more than you.

Conclave Only Features
- If the council is content and declare war law is set to council it reduces the chance for independence factions to form in the dejure land.
- Giving more powers to council will increase chance for independence faction to fire in de-jure lands to represent less control over your vassals.
- Council faction is now more likely to be created and joined by council members, powerful vassals and ambitious vassals. Other vassals are less interested in joining.
- Increase council power faction will never cause a revolt war. If you decline a major stacking opinion penalty is provided. Those members will leave the faction but can rejoin in 2 years.
- Overthrow Ruler faction will now increase council power.
- Overthrow Ruler faction if demands are accepted will not be set to elective succession unless the council already has some power.

Without Conclave Features
-Increasing crown authority will reduce the independence likelyhood in dejure lands back to nearly never with max crown authority.
- Lower Crown authority factions can include vassals outside the titles lands at a smaller chance of joining

This mod has a more natural decline to the AI then my crown authority destruction mod while still having the same effect of bringing a bit more instability to empires and kingdoms. Now since v2 of that mod you can use in conjuction for a greater destruction of blobs.

Mod Compatability

This mod will conflict with mods that also modify the default vanilla factions and plots.

Works with ck2 version 2.6.2/2.6.3 "Provided for fun by The Strategy Master"

Just tested it with no other mods activated. Same issue.

@shattered_logic: Works fine for me. You most likely have a mod conflict that also modifies factions. To confirm disable all mods apart from this mod and it should work.

According to the description the council power faction should never cause a revolt, but each time I've tested this and said no to that faction it causes a revolt. A bug perhaps?

@Sir Olorin: Its not dead, it works :P Once new patch hits next week I planning on updates and slowly merging the other mod to become more of a general factions mod, plus some rebalancing and using game rules to give more customization oppurtunities. So watch out in the future, but I am considering making it a new mod entirely.

- Fix so overthrow ruler faction now fires even when no supported claimant exists.
- Made people a little more likely to join claimaint wars
- Council power faction will now fire at vanilla strength levels because it will no longer cause a war.
