best way to put anything on a rail is to lift it. make a tug able to lift the weight, use your landing gear to grapple it and then slide it onto the rail then engage whatever park your rail vehical has before decoupling your lifter.

so i place the Elevator Base .. but i cant place the Vehicle ;( ( all the time when i want place it on the Base .. then it explode and destroy the Base ;( ) Can you help me pls?

I've been working on and off with a design quite similar to this, but in reverse (as WardenWold mentioned). I designed a small ship to be as tight as possible around a station pillar (required a 'tug' addon to compress the wheels). I can remove the thruster 'tug' and add anything I want onto it in any direction - the wheels maintain enough power and friction to perform any task I need (except parking - no matter what setting, it always slowly decends in parked mode).

Loading these types of vehicles onto a rail is tricky, but once you get it down, it can be easy. It's good to have the wheels set up correctly for this. The tighter the fit on the wheels, the more capable the vehicle will be at self-loading. (I'm considering a version of mine with a 'feeder' on the end to ease loading)

Cant paste this on to the shaft? Any tips on how to get the vehicle on the rail?

Needs a few tweaks to be used from an earth-type planet. It doesn't have enough thrust to hover or climb the shaft. Also, the suspension travel may need to be tweaked to help regulate the max speed; lower travel = lower speed.

Rysome, I've got an idea you might want to try: a reverse space elevator. Basically a vertical planetary drilling rig that builds its tracks as it goes deeper. Obviously the drill head would have to be larger than the rear. I know it's doable, but I lack the experience to really make it work.

BetaSword, he's done the hard part: getting a working basic design. And believe me, that's an insane amount of work. I've done work with vehicles on tracks before planets, and it was a huge effort just getting them onto the track. I thought about doing my own elevator, but decided I didn't want to deal with that nightmare in a gravity well. You can always add on to the vehicle to make it do whatever you want, although you may need to add some downward-facing atmospheric thrusters to compensate for the added weight.

To be blunt here, you've got quite a thoughtful Design here.
An actual Space-Elevator should be able to also maintain the Cable it's moving on.
But there is still a Problem with the current Design.
The Problem, that I See is, that it should have Landing-Gear on Top as well, for docking onto the End-Station in Space.

And if it were to be finalized, it should be having something like an actual onboard-Area for the Crew/Passengers to stay in, without them needing Space-Suits inside the Elevator..

Given some Design's that Ive seen in ScienceFiction so far, I could see this as a Base for a 4-Cable.Version, where each of this works as a Module, to hold the Cargo iand Crew n the Middle on something like an Actual Platform.
Or for less material-Consuming, and probably a cooler look: 3 of these as Modules arranged in a Triangle.

With a stational Space-Station as it's Docking-Solution in Space(Unlike the ISS, wich is moving like a Sattelite)..

Great Design, even though i don't like the rotors/pistons as much but still, a very great idea!

Keep up the nice work as well as the amazing youtube videos!(still waiting for the "Raptor" blueprint ;p)
