This mod alters most of the new icons introduced in the new lobby system in Age of Empires II HD Edition version 4.0 and The Forgotten 4.0. It aims to provide a cleaner look, with icons that are a little bit more in keeping with the game's theme. Plus also I like shiny shields.

List of icons replaced in this mod -

- Icons next to civ names to represent what game version they're from (now red, blue, green, yellow or dark turqouise shields)
- Mirror icon (now a blank, mirror-effect shield)
- Random icon (now a multicoloured shield)
- Spectator icon (now the eye icon used in the game's Spy technology)
- Mods for civs not present or uninstalled (now uses Lucida Blackletter-style icons)
- Gold star icon for civ pools (altered to be clearer)
- (4.0-4.3) Icon shown when selecting 'Any' data set in multiplayer (now shows both game's helmet icons, rather than the 3D-effect asterisk used before)
- Banners in the tech tree drop-down that show what version civs are from (now red, blue, green or yellow or dark turqouise shields)
- (4.0-4.3) Icon show when selecting 'Original Game' and 'Expansions' data sets (Original Game icon changed to Age of Kings icon, Expansions icon changed to Forgotten/African Kingdoms/Rise of the Rajas icons together)
- (4.4 +) Icons shown when selecting single player campaigns (now red, blue, green, yellow or dark turqouise shields)


Not replaced
- Mod manager icons.

Where are these icons from?
I made these, except for the 'Spectator' and 'Both Datasets' icons, which are edits of in-game assets.
