Description
Nightingale Pass functions literally as it's name implies, as a Pass through the Nightingale Mountains. It offers many challenges to the city builder including elevation changes and some cramped quarters in certain areas. It has bountiful resources, wildlife, rushing rivers and beautiful mountain vistas!

It also has fully interconnected highway, boat, rail, and plane systems in place.

Remember to rate if you like!

If you want non European buildings to grow, there is this now. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=456408505

For those new to the game. There are several areas that have highway off ramps acting as roads. These are just placeholders to show where the roads can go. You can choose to upgrade them where they are to any other type of road or just bulldoze and make your own.

(Note) Upgrading to the largest wide avenues might affect some treelines. They were drawn in using the highway width as a guidelines so most roads shouldn't affect the trees.

These mods were used in some or all of the screenshots.

The Moving Sun mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=420230361
The Road Color Changer mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=417585852
The No Pillar mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=409073164 for removing some pillars that boats clip through under some bridges. Hit the 'Floating button' then the upgrade button and right click twice.

I also recommend http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=403798635 for unlocking 25 tiles. You can play this map without it but you'll miss out on quite a bit of the map.

These modders created all or parts, or provided inspiration for the highway assets that went into making this.

I think this is my favorite map I've used so far. I don't think I've ever had problems with not having enough land to build on, and this map definitely presents a fun challenge in the early game.

Yeah man, I'm still around.) The day/night cycle is awesome. I still play the game occasionally. Good to see you and a few others so prolific at making the maps. I need a wacom pen or something, building maps really takes its toll on my wrist for this game. It's weird, I play lots of other games w/o that problem.

Kold! You're still around! I was just looking for a map with specific elements to recommend, and there you are in the comments! Ever think about playing CS again? The day/night cycle is really nice.... :) Anyhow, good to see you around

Beautiful city! I'm gonna upload a couple of those pics here if you don't mind. Excellent work!

Just wanted to say that I've been enjoying this map for awhile! It's challenging, beautiful, and fun. I've been posting pictures of what I've been doing with it at http://community.simtropolis.com/journals/journal/5417-dewey-dell/
I changed the name but gave you credit in my opening post.
Thanks for the great map!

It's your elevated 3 way on the cover pic, slightly modified, longer ramp lanes though. I have actually used that one in a few maps, works great, looks awesome and doesn't take up tons of space!

Out of curiosity, is that my 3-way turbine interchange?
