Descrizione
'Mozhaisk was already burning by the time we were relocated to the outskirts, ordered to throw together defences from whatever we could scrounge in a ruined dump of a village. By the time we heard the engines roaring in the distance, the fires of Mozhaisk had followed us, and thick smoke had crept across the fields, laced with embers and snow. But we knew, no matter what, the longer we held, the worse the storm would become.' Multiple buildings offer little protection in the close quarters of the map's centre, and on the outskirts, cover is sparse. Defences and occlusion are the key to victory.

After doing some back and forth fighting in the town center that saw the village almost entirely destroyed, be it from flamethrowers, a few too many grenades, or my desperate attempts to kill off a Panzerwerfer with my own artillery, I sneaked a SU-85 over to the right corner of the map where I camouflaged it, and laid in wait. Set up tank traps on other avenues toward my base, and racked up so many kills that the wreckage was starting to get in the way.

11/10, would cause traffic jam again.

There's something very fiery about this map !

This is another beautiful looking map by MonolithicBacon, with props to DonXavi, too! Playability-wise I don't like it as much as many of the others in your pack because the site lines are rather bad. A tank seems to be safe from, say, an anti tank gun by being maybe 1/3 obscured by a fence, rubble or building. Perhaps this is normal. If it is, then it's too much of a good thing for me.

Yet, it is clear that you two have put in a lot of work to this map. Thank you for your hard work.

@Conquistador, I'm glad you like it! It's probably my favourite map of all time. But it would need to be 5 stars before it ever gets noticed, so slim chance there! Still, thanks for the support and the praise! It means a lot.

I'll have another look into this map and see what I can do. It wouldn't be the first map to screw up for seemingly little reason.

I actually just double-checked to make sure I wasn't imagining things, and the standard resource points are giving +6 munitions and +4 fuel instead of the +5/+3 they normally give. Probably just a bug if you didn't know about it, no big deal. :)

I'd love to see Relic add this map to the game by default if the resource income was fixed. I also want to add that you're one of the best mapmakers on the workshop, especially since most people are more interested in making terrible high population, high resource bridge-heavy campfests. Thanks for the maps!

@Conquistador, the resource income for this map actually hasn't been changed. The number of CP's, fuel points and munitions are exactly the same as normal maps, and there is no manipulation in starting resources or income.

Did you accidentally set the game to High Resources, rather than Normal?

Either way, thanks for playing!

This is an excellently created map, but I have just one problem with it. The resource income is *way* too high. I had enough for an American major before I even hit 3 CP's. It breaks game balance. Could you turn it down to normal?

Really nice map.
